We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadia & Ramon Karam and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadia & Ramon, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Well having a background of hospitality for the BOH( back of house) was a passion I had wen I went to culinary academy in 97 after high school. Growing up with a family of 9. My mother would daily cook 3 meals daily with dessert. When it came to BBQ on the grill my father would over cook n burn the meat!!! I was 10 years old I took over the grill and ever since then my love and passion for food started!!! I moved to Az in 2002, and worked at the best resort in Az,, the FAIRMONT SCOTTSDALE PRINCESS, I was there for a total of 14 years! Working there with the talented chefs there molded me who I am today ! My wife Nadia karam has awesome customer service ! She was a financial advisor of Best Buy! She was #1 in the district of customer service!!
So one day her n I decided to put our talents and skills together and came up with AMAZING Ks BURGERS!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
From the experience in life working at the best resort in Az, speed and efficiency had to on point ! They’re no mess ups! It’s the BEST OF THE BEST!! After working for 14 years straight though, my lower spine gave out and took me out of commission in the kitchen world! Had to have spinal fusion done ! It took 3 years of healing and recovery! But after I was good to go got the clearance from doctor,, went back to the Fairmont and never missed a beat!! I made the comeback of the decade after back surgery!
My wife Nadia Karam been working with Best Buy corporate customer service , she is rated #1 in the district of taking care of customers!
Bring happily married to my Assyrian goddess Nadia karam for 20 years and have 7 blessed beautiful children!
What’s set us apart from others, I can’t tell u what others are doing but I can tell you what we are doing!!!
WE COOK TO ORDER, 6-8 guest at a time ! Speed and freshness of food customers love, and what kind of meat u ask well let me tell y’all,,, it’s from LEE BONES BUTCHER SHOP! In Peoria Az 83 rd ave and Union hills!
The meat we get is 2 Blend PRIME!!!
Again having the best meat the best bread and product EXPLAINS ITS SELF!! As the burgers sell themselves ! When u see the reaction of customers of looking at the food 1st before theY eat it is PRICELESS!
That’s the whole reason we do this is that for the customers!!! Aka my fan club

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There is so much to do in Arizona. I wouldn’t event know where to begin. From phoeinx to Scottsdale and Tucson and Sedona. Well I would recommend all these places form breakfast in Phoneix I would take my friends to name a few: Essence Breakfast, Original Breakfast House, Breakfast Club, Cafe Chenar. I would take my friends to lunch/dinner to name few: Bourbon Steak, Toro, Taco Guild, Wrigley Mansion, Steak 44, Yard House, Seasons 52, Hush Public House. Dessert and drinks we would go to Different Point Or View, Jade Bar, Volanti, Rusty Spur Saloon, Second Story Liquor Bar, Dessert Girl, Sweet Republic, The Yard Milkshake. This is just to name a few and there is sooOO much more to name. Places to go in Phoneix are so many outstanding things to do from hiking, hot air ballon rides, trials, throwing axes, drive in movie theater. There are so much to do all around Arizona. I would take my friends to tour Tucson as well and see the Bisbee Tamale Company and eat at the Baja Cake Of Tucson also the Guadalajara Jara Original and get some dessert at Frost Gelto. I would also take my friends down to Sedona to experience the Red Rock and the trails and grab a bite at the red rock cafe and most likely eat something at the Hudson.
