We had the good fortune of connecting with Allie Steinbock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Allie, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is that I genuinely care about people, how they feel about themselves and I am able to relate to them through my own fitness journey. As a teenager, I struggled a lot with my weight and self confidence. It wasn’t until I discovered how exercise, specifically group exercise, can have such a positive impact on people. Not only with getting in shape, but complete mental and physical health benefits.

Ever since then, it has been my goal to help people to stop feeling how I felt. My ability to relate to people in every stage of their fitness journey allows me to connect with them in a way that other fitness coaches may not be able to. I know what they are going through physically and mentally so they trust me when I suggest certain changes for them.

My passion and personal experience sets me apart from many other trainers.

What should our readers know about your business?
HEAT Fitness is an acronym I came up with to incorporate my love for the Arizona heat but also showcase my beliefs about the health and fitness industry.

Health, Encourage, Achieve and Thrive.

The HEALTH of my clients is imperative. Obviously we all want to look great but I think that comes with the effort of taking care of yourself. When you give your body what it wants, it gives you what you want.

I will always ENCOURAGE you to get better in a positive way. No shaming, comparing or “never enough” feelings. You are always enough.

I will help you ACHIEVE the goals you want to reach. I might even show you potential you didn’t even know you had.

I’m excited to watch you THRIVE and be the best version of yourself. I’m here to help every step of the way!

I am a big proponent of realistic health and fitness goals. We are human and sometimes we want to go out and have a guilt free meal with friends and family. I encourage these things! It is important to find a balance of focusing on your health but also still enjoying life. It’s not easy to find that balance but I’m here to help in any way that I can!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love being outside and active so I would definitely be planning some hikes in spots like Sabina Canyon or Pima Canyon.

My favorite kind of food is breakfast foods so I would take them to one of our amazing brunch spots like Snooze an eatery or First Watch. Maybe even Truland Burgers and Greens for my favorite sweet potato tater tots.

The Desert Museum is one of my favorite places to really get to experience all sides of the desert. We can see all of the creepy, crawly, scary animals (behind glass thankfully) while taking in the beauty of hummingbirds flying around us. Such an amazing place. Not to mention the drive there is breathtaking on its own!

Of course some pool time is necessary to relax and take in the warm Tucson sun. My favorite part of the year!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank my parents for always supporting me through my journey to get to where I am. They encouraged me to go to college, study what I love and then move across the country to find a new way of life. They have always been there for me and still are two of my biggest supporters.

I also want to thank my boyfriend for allowing me to start my business out of his home. He helped pave the road for me to get out of a less than idea situation and start my business. Which has always been a dream of mine. I am very grateful to him and his encouragement and support.
