Meet Amber Mikesell | Founder & Lead Minister of Suivera

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Mikesell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amber, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?

The most valuable lesson my career has taught me is to embrace and own my unique voice in the world, daring to think differently, feel differently, and behave differently, without craving conformity or attention. It has instilled in me the courage to challenge thoughts, processes, and the status quo, all with the aim of raising the bar and making a meaningful impact.

All too often, we are conditioned to either blend in or stand out, inadvertently losing sight of our own authentic message and purpose. From my experiences over the years, I have come to realize that recognition or acceptance for my work is secondary. What truly matters is that I engage in activities that fulfill me, as I contribute to the world around me. This genuine love and passion create a vibrant and joyful work environment that becomes contagious, inspiring others within our organization. Consequently, our workspace transforms into an uplifting and creatively expansive space that everyone eagerly anticipates being a part of.

I have also learned to embrace risk-taking and challenge the status quo without fear. Complacency should never serve as a justification for allowing a stagnant structure or system to persist without change.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

Who We Are

Suivera is a global nonprofit all-faiths church that embraces the core principle of Love. We strive to bridge traditional belief systems with modern science, offering a fresh perspective on Love, Religion, and Life.

What We Do

At Suivera, our mission is to support you on your unique path of self-discovery and spiritual growth. We believe in the inherent love that resides within you, and we provide opportunities to learn, embrace, and enhance these qualities, deepening your self-awareness and connection to the divine.

We invite you to bring your own beliefs (BYOB) and meld them as you build upon them, using them as a sturdy foundation for personal growth. If you find yourself uncertain about your beliefs, we understand and respect that too.

We offer a wide range of courses, classes, podcasts, online presentations, and discussions to facilitate your exploration.

Suivera also presents a creed and doctrine for your consideration. You can explore them on our website at Suivera.org.

Other than this, most of our time would be spent hanging in – catching up and connecting. As wonderful as adventures are, some of my greatest trips with my friends have been when we do nothing but sit by a pool or fire and talk about our life.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My partner, Austin Uhl, has played a pivotal role in not only my personal growth but also in the remarkable success we have achieved with Suivera. As a co-founder of Suivera, Austin has devoted himself tirelessly to establishing the fundamental pillars of our organization, expanding our outreach, creating compelling content, and contributing to our team. Witnessing his ability to effortlessly assume multiple roles during our initial stages has been truly astonishing, all while seamlessly fulfilling his role as my life partner.

Navigating relationships can be challenging, especially when you embark on a professional journey together. Yet, when launching a pioneering organization that demands countless hours of trial and refinement, having someone like Austin by your side becomes invaluable. I am filled with gratitude every single day for the privilege of building a life and an extraordinary organization founded on love alongside him. The opportunity to share this profound love with the members of our Suivera community is a gift beyond measure, and I am continuously thankful for this shared experience.
