We had the good fortune of connecting with Susan Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Susan, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
Success, in my opinion, is when you feel fulfilled. All the components of financial, job/career, family and so on are where you need them to be. Happiness, gratitude and giving are factors of success, giving back and paying it forward should be inclusive of one feeling fulfilled/whole.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From the outside looking in, it appears as my practice looks like it must be easy and seamless. The ambience has been created from hard work, sacrifice, financial challenges and many ups and downs that come from angles I didn’t know were there. I needed support ranging from financial to emotional. Having a support system is crucial as is being resourceful.

There were a couple of times I seriously thought about giving up. Almost all professions require relationships with others and there have been plenty of times when another person’s decisions and choices created much stress, anxiety and complete upheaval.

There are some days I don’t want to go to work. But once I walk into my clinic, I am ‘home’ and am full of pride for what I have achieved and being wrapped in rainbow because I get to do what I love to do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A quick trip to Sedona is a must, and some quality shopping at Scottsdale Fashion Square. An outdoor casual eatery at TMI. Maybe a hot air balloon ride or bowling with new friends or maybe both!
AZ88 is a must on the list! Hands down best Martinis in the valley. The Phoenix Art Museum and maybe a comedy show.
Food options are endless and if a sweet tooth should arise, Cold Stone Creamery is just around the corner!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout is for Princess G. Over the years, she has been an incredible source of support both personal and professional. I will be grateful to her for all of my days.

And a shout out to my loyal clients. Without them, I don’t get to do what I love. I appreciate the trust they have in me for their skincare needs, education and a friend.
