Hi Jennyfer, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?

I believe the most crucial element contributing to my success is staying true to my values. Every decision, strategy, and collaboration I undertake is rooted in my core principles: dedication, discipline, and integrity. This value-centric approach not only defines my personal brand and work ethic but also sets the tone for the business relationships I cultivate. It ensures that I align with like-minded individuals and companies, fostering positive and productive collaborations.

Moreover, my success has been significantly shaped by my commitment to learning and improvement. The marketing and communication landscape is continuously evolving, and I’ve learned to adapt, innovate, and leverage new techniques and trends to stay ahead. This constant curiosity and drive to learn have fueled my professional growth, enabling me to provide the best strategies for my clients.

Lastly, a key aspect of my success lies in my ability to balance meticulous attention to detail with a broader strategic perspective. This dual focus allows me to create comprehensive, effective branding narratives that not only look great but also drive brand recognition and business growth.

However, the heart behind my success is my family. As a mother and entrepreneur, the radiance of Leo’s smile, the tenderness of his kisses, the warmth of his hugs –  are the treasures that light up my days. They ignite a desire within me to strive for improvement and excellence in all facets of my life. It’s through his love that I find the strength and inspiration to persist and excel.

Moreover, I am blessed with an incredible support network that includes my loving husband, my rock in all situations, always encouraging me and believing in me. Then there’s my mom, my heroine, who steps in with unending love and patience, caring for Leo, and allowing me to navigate through my work. 

Their love, support, and understanding fuel my resilience and determination, reminding me that with them by my side, I can accomplish anything.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Branthea is a boutique branding and communications agency founded in 2021. We take pride in creating powerful brand narratives and visually stunning communication strategies that truly connect with audiences and drive conversions.

We believe in the co-existence of authenticity and modern branding techniques. Our work is about balancing these elements to create truly memorable brands. We operate on the principle that a business’s image and reputation extend far beyond visuals; they are expressions of personality, values, and actions.

We have a diverse portfolio that includes crafting impactful business names, creating engaging social media content, and developing e-newsletters and other marketing materials. With a keen eye for detail, passion for creativity, and dedication to excellence, we ensure our clients’ brand messages are not only heard but resonate with their intended audience.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Day 1: Arrival and Exploration

• We will start our adventure with a leisurely stroll through the Desert Botanical Garden, where we can marvel at the beauty of the cacti and desert flora.
  Next, we will head to Pizzeria Bianco, one of our favorite local spots, for a delicious lunch.
  In the afternoon, we’ll explore the vibrant Downtown Phoenix area, visiting art galleries, checking out boutique shops, and enjoying the unique street art.
  For dinner, we will have reservations at The Arrogant Butcher, a popular restaurant known for its modern American cuisine and lively atmosphere.

Day 2: Outdoor Adventures

• We’ll embark on an outdoor adventure, starting with a hike up Camelback Mountain. We’ll soak in the breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
  After working up an appetite, we’ll stop by The Farm at South Mountain for a farm-to-table lunch surrounded by a serene pecan grove.
  In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a leisurely bike ride along the scenic paths of Tempe Town Lake, taking in the beautiful views.
  For dinner, we will have a table reserved at Durant’s, a classic steakhouse that has been serving up mouthwatering meals since 1950.

Day 3: Cultural Exploration

• We’ll dive into the rich cultural heritage of Phoenix, starting with a visit to the Heard Museum. We’ll explore its impressive collection of Native American art and immerse ourselves in the diverse cultures.
  Lunchtime will be an authentic Mexican culinary experience at Barrio Café, a local gem known for its delicious dishes.
  Afterward, we’ll spend the afternoon exploring the Roosevelt Row Arts District, admiring the art galleries, vibrant street murals, and trendy boutiques.
  We’ll wrap up the day with dinner at The Gladly, where we can savor their innovative American fare and indulge in their extensive whiskey selection.

Day 4: Day Trip to Sedona

• We will have an exciting day trip planned to Sedona, renowned for its stunning red rock formations and spiritual energy.
  We’ll hike through the picturesque trails of Red Rock State Park, taking in the breathtaking natural beauty, or the Devil´s Bridge
  For lunch, we’ll stop by The Hudson, a local favorite known for its American comfort food with a modern twist.
  After exploring the art galleries and shops in Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, we’ll enjoy a memorable dinner at Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill, featuring Latin-inspired cuisine and spectacular views.

Day 5: Relaxation and Shopping

• We’ll start the morning by pampering ourselves at the luxurious Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa, indulging in rejuvenating spa treatments and taking in the breathtaking views.
  For a delightful lunch, we’ll head to FnB Restaurant, known for its farm-to-table approach and creative dishes.
  In the afternoon, we’ll shop till we drop at Biltmore Fashion Park, an upscale outdoor mall featuring high-end brands and unique boutique shops.
  We’ll end the day with dinner at FnB Bar & Charcuterie, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and delicious small plates.

Day 6: Sports and Entertainment

• We’ll immerse ourselves in sports and entertainment. We’ll catch an exhilarating baseball game at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and indulge in classic ballpark food.
  After the game, we’ll treat ourselves to a late lunch at Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana, where we can savor authentic Neapolitan pizza.
  In the evening, we’ll head to Stand Up Live, a comedy club hosting top-notch comedians, for a night filled with laughter and entertainment.
  We’ll cap off the day with dinner at Arrowhead Grill, a popular steakhouse known for its prime cuts and elegant ambiance.

Day 7: Nature and Farewell

• On our last day together, we’ll start by visiting the Desert Ridge Marketplace for some last-minute shopping and enjoying a delicious brunch at The Breakfast Club, known for its mouthwatering breakfast and brunch dishes.
  We’ll have the opportunity to revisit the stunning landscapes of the Desert Botanical Garden or explore the breathtaking views from South Mountain Park and Preserve.
  We’ll end our trip on a high note with a memorable dinner at Different Pointe of View, a mountaintop restaurant offering awe-inspiring views of the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

In the journey that I’ve been on to become the strategist and entrepreneur that I am today, I’ve been blessed to cross paths with numerous incredible individuals. Each person I’ve encountered has taught me something new and invaluable, helping me become the person I am today. I’d like to take this opportunity to give a shout-out to the people who’ve had a profound influence on my life.

Firstly, my corporate work experience laid the groundwork for my entrepreneurial journey. It provided me with the essential tools and knowledge that shaped my thinking and approach to business. I learned so much during this phase, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities it presented.

I want to mention a few mentors, some of whom might not even realize the significant roles they’ve played in my story. Sharon Aldrich, my first direct leader, holds a special place in my heart. Her leadership style and work ethics left a lasting impact on me.

Ruza Radulovik is another such influential figure in my career. Over the beginning of my career at Apollo Group, I was able to learn from her. Ruza is not just intelligent and creative, she’s a phenomenal storyteller, strategic thinker, visionary, and an entrepreneur.  She trusted me, valued my contributions, and later even offered me the opportunity to work with her beyond our Apollo journey. Her faith in me boosted my confidence and inspired me to achieve more than I thought possible.

I was also blessed to meet Wendy Morales at Global Health Education. Wendy’s passion, dedication, and energy left a lasting impression on me. Her significant experience in digital strategy and campaign execution, her aptitude for multitasking, and her quick problem-solving abilities are exceptional, and I am proud to have worked and learned from her. She always demonstrated how to effectively juggle multiple responsibilities without compromising quality. More importantly, Wendy showed me that it’s entirely possible to excel in your career while also being an amazing mom. 

A special mention for Leticia “Lety” Rios from Tresalia Capital. Lety has been a steady guiding force, offering wisdom and direction during chaotic times. When emotions threatened to cloud judgement, Lety was there with her wisdom and invaluable guidance, giving me calm in the storm. Lety’s meticulous attention to detail, effective communication skills, and leadership have been an inspiration. She’s not only been a mentor, but also a dear friend.

Lastly, I would love to extend a heartfelt shoutout to Mariasun Aramburuzabala. The emphasis Mariasun put on meticulous attention to detail and treating content and design with equal importance carved out a unique niche for me in the workplace. Her approach paved the way for CEOs and leaders to not just notice, but truly value my work. This recognition made a world of difference to my career trajectory. It not only bolstered my self-confidence but also affirmed the significance of the work I was doing. 

Her belief in me and my capabilities has been an enormous source of motivation. When I became a mother, she was supportive and enabled me to continue my professional journey without sacrificing my time with my child.

I am sincerely grateful for her invaluable mentorship and for being such a strong, inspiring figure in my life!

My deepest gratitude goes out to each of these women who have played significant roles in my journey. Each one deserves recognition and credit in my story. They have shaped my professional path, and continue to inspire me daily.
