We had the good fortune of connecting with BluSatire and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi BluSatire, why did you pursue a creative career?
I’ve always been a creative person who loved many things. I love music, anime, gaming, popular culture as well as having good conversations with people who like the same things that I like. Getting into Content creation and streaming was one way to put all of my passions in one place. Especially gaming and music. While it isnt my main career, its one that I can be happy about and one that I can put a lot of love into doing things that I love

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From 9-5 I am a social worker and every hour after that I am Content Creator. I dont hear of many social workers in the content creator space, and I understand why. I believe that having that background, helps me understand people a little better as well as be more compassionate about people’s situations. I think that is missing in a lot of content creators as well as the viewers in the community and gaming space. When it comes to content creation, the journey has been fulfilling, but it definitely isn’t easy. It takes a lot of work to improve and to gain any type of growth. You battle feelings of failure, imposter syndrome, feeling left out, feeling like you are not good enough. But those are all things a lot of us have to deal with and overcome. i think knowing that I’m unique, that I have impacted people in a positive way is what makes all of the hardships worth it. I’ve learned to appreciate the people who do support me and the people who do come around and not worry about the things I cant control! One thing I am proud of is being named the BIPOC Award Indie Game Streamer of the year! I’m a person who shows a lot of love to indie games in my content and that made it all worth it. All in all, my daytime work as well as my content creation journey, has always been about connecting with people and helping in the best way that I can.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m not gonna lie to you, I am a very chill person. In the Dallas -Fort Worth area, I would for sure take them to a bunch of the museums we have here, like the modern art museum as well as the video game museum. We have some of the best brisket and other soul food in multiple areas so we would have to eat there. At night we have plenty of bars to kick it at in uptown, Frisco, Plano, Arlington. If its during the sports seasons we would def go to some baseball, basketball, or football games. There is plenty to do here!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
When it comes to my content creation Journey, I have to thank the people who have had my back and continue to push me forward. Between my community, Two Stream Teams I am a part of, The Ascension Alliance and Andromeda Arcade, There are many people who help me become a better person. If its, raising money for charity with them, Watching them grow, Doing events together to help each other grow. I would not be here if it wasnt for them. Special Shoutout to Coldberg9. He is another content creator who deserves so much recognition for what he does for the community. He also was integral in my Journey in content creation and has and continues to help me grow.
