Hi Trevor, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Transitioning from a 20-year tenure in the food industry, I recognized that my creative potential and sense of autonomy were stifled within the confines of a corporate structure. Driven by a desire to rekindle my passion for a more challenging and creative pursuit, I embarked on a profound personal journey.

This journey led me to rediscover a childhood fascination—rebuilding and restoring custom motorcycles, with a specific focus on the iconic BMW K-series. Embracing the role of an entrepreneur and establishing my own enterprise has afforded me a unique canvas for self-expression and innovation. It has empowered me to establish and uphold rigorous standards of craftsmanship, thereby compelling me to constantly evolve my skill set and artistic vision.

Moreover, the autonomy of self-employment has prompted a fundamental shift in my approach. Rather than outsourcing critical tasks, I’ve chosen to invest more substantially in self-improvement, honing my abilities, and acquiring the necessary expertise to independently bring my creative visions to fruition. This journey of self-discovery and personal growth has been immensely rewarding, fueling my passion and commitment to the world of custom motorcycle restoration.

I take great pride in my commitment to meticulous attention to detail, a quality I strive to exemplify not only in the final results of my work but also in every step of the process. Through my online presence, I share the intricacies involved in reworking original BMW bikes, both from mechanical and aesthetic perspectives. Specializing in a highly regarded edition of BMW bikes, renowned across multiple countries, is a privilege I deeply value.

This journey hasn’t been without its challenges, but the unwavering support of my family has been instrumental throughout my learning curve. As I’ve delved into the intricacies of this craft, I’ve encountered and resolved various issues, which has prompted me to be transparent about my work online. Sharing my knowledge openly serves a dual purpose: it piques the curiosity of those interested, including potential customers, and also provides assistance to individuals facing similar challenges in their own bike restoration endeavors. It’s truly gratifying to imagine that I can contribute to someone else’s pursuit of their dream, serving as a stepping stone in their unique journey.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Exploring the serene woods and reconnecting with nature amidst the backdrop of forgotten mining towns and historical relics is a personal sanctuary for me. It’s a way to reset, rejuvenate, and appreciate the rich history of our region. Additionally, I find great pleasure in introducing my friends to the local rivers and lakes, allowing them to experience the natural beauty that surrounds us.

As the day draws to a close, I often like to unwind and savor a delightful meal. Plaza Bonita stands as a top choice for such occasions, providing a welcoming ambiance and delicious cuisine. It’s the perfect spot to cap off a day filled with exploration and shared experiences.

Acknowledging the individuals who have played significant roles in my life is both a privilege and a responsibility. Among these remarkable individuals, my family stands as the bedrock of unwavering support and love. My wife, daughter, and parents have been constant pillars, providing not only the emotional fortitude to pursue my passions but also the strength to persevere through life’s challenges.

In addition to my family, I’ve been fortunate to encounter an inspiring community within my field, largely facilitated by online networking.
