We had the good fortune of connecting with James Dale Jr. aka Strat and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi James, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I feel that doing what you love is of ultimate importance. Doing that for a career while being able to express yourself all while inspiring others is an amazing feeling.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am the Founder and CEO for Stratland Entertainment LLC as well as an Artist.

What sets us apart is the fact that we are a breath of fresh air in today’s music industry. We are original, different and not afraid to be ourselves. It is real music for real people.

I am most proud of my sobriety.

I got to where I am today professionally and personally by never giving up and continuing forward with dedication, determination and faith.

To overcome challenges in life as well as the business world…one must understand that behind every “loss” is a lesson. So therefore it’s not really a “loss” because you grow from it and know what to do or what not to do…next time. That is how one can progress on the journey.
