We had the good fortune of connecting with SkyUnit Team and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi SkyUnit, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thinking behind the creation of our filmmaking team was nurtured by a shared passion for multimedia and the desire to tell stories in a unique and impactful way. It all started as a hobby but evolved into something more due to the unique set of skills and perspectives each member brought. We aim to provide our clients and partners with a memorable experience, whether through a captivating narrative, stunning cinematography and immersive soundtracks. Every project we undertake is an opportunity to breathe life into new ideas and create something that resonates with people, allowing them to soar high and see the world with different eyes. We are your vision, your inspiration, your idea, we are SKYUNIT, with LIFE, COLOR, and MOTION!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets our creative team apart is the diversity of talents, backgrounds, and ideas that we bring to the table. Like a professional family of storytellers, dedicated to the development of videography and photography projects with passion, dynamism, and ambition it allow us to approach projects from multiple angles and create unique, multidisciplinary works. We are most proud of our ability to synergize and create cohesive, innovative pieces that are greater than the sum of their parts. The collaborative process ignites our creativity, enabling us to push the boundaries of traditional artistic forms.
Our journey to this point has been a thrilling yet challenging one. It wasn’t easy to align our individual visions and harmonize our various creative strengths. We had to learn how to communicate effectively, compromise and have faith in each other.
Overcoming these challenges required open-mindedness and a commitment to active listening. We learned to appreciate each team member’s unique perspective and how to blend those perspectives into a harmonious creative process. Embracing constructive criticism and feedback has been crucial to our growth.
One vital lesson we’ve learned is the value of diverse viewpoints. By embracing our differences and encouraging individual expression, we’ve unlocked new levels of creativity and innovation. Our combined experiences and backgrounds have allowed us to draw inspiration from a wide range of sources, resulting in more well-rounded and dynamic artistic projects.
What we want the world to know is that our creative team represents a beautiful mosaic of talents and ideas. We aim to reach where no one has reached yet, extending a hand to both small and large businesses, creating connections and new opportunities for all who wish to collaborate with us. By working together, we believe that we can continue to break new ground and produce art that resonates on a deep and meaningful level.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If our best friends were visiting the area, we’d want to ensure they had an unforgetable week exploring the vibrant and beautiful capital of Portugal, the city of Lisbon, through a sample itenerary for an amazing week-long trip. In the first day, we would start from the historic neighborhood of Alfama and wander through its charming streets and alleys, enjoying a traditional Portuguesse dinner at a local restaurant. During the second day, exploring the Jerónimos Monastery, while enjoying some of the best pasteis de Belém, which is a custard tart, from the famous confectionery Pasteis de Belém is a must. A stroll along the scenic riverside and a relaxing moment in the beautiful parks, would most certainly be a great way to whetting one’s appetite before a delicous seafood dinner at a waterfront restaurant. On day three, we’d be heading to the LXfactory, a trendy area with art galleries, shops and unique dining options. Exploring the historic neighborhoods of Bairro Alto and Chiado in the evening, known for their lively atmosphere and nightlife. Day four would be spent in Parque das Nações, where you can visit the Lisbon Oceanarium, have lunch at one of the various riverside restaurants, visit the Vasco da Gama Tower for a panoramic view and in the evening, have dinner at a rooftop bar with a stunning view of the River Tejo. On day five taking a detour to Sintra, a picturesque town known for its colorful palaces and historic charm, would mostly be appreciated. Exploring the stunning Palácio da Pena and the Moorish Castle and enjoying a lunch in one of Sintra’s quaint cafés.
On day six, we could spend the morning at the National Tile Museum, appreciating Portugal’s tile art, visit the São Jorge Castle for more historical insights, explore the charming streets of Mouraria, known for its multicultural atmosphere and have a traditional Portuguese dinner with Fado (tradicional portuguese music) in Alfama. Last but not least, on the seventh day , we could end the trip with a visit to the Santa Justa Lift for panoramic city views and have a farewell dinner at a restaurant with traditional Portuguese cuisine.
This itinerary offers a mix of history, culture, breathtaking scenery and delicious food and drinks, ensuring our best friends had an incredible time in Lisbon, with Belem and Parque das Nações as two standout spots to explore.

We’d like to dedicate this shoutout to the incredible power of friendship and teamwork! Our group’s journey and success has been immensely influenced by the deep bonds we share as a team. Our mutual support, mentorship, love, and encouragement has been the driving force behind what we have become today. We cherish the opportunity to grow together and learn professionally as a united force. This team has been the bedrock of our achievements, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each member for their dedication and unwavering commitment to our shared goals. Together, we have proven that the power of friendship and teamwork can truly be a major boost in the pursuit of success.
