We had the good fortune of connecting with Loren Howard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
When I was a kid, I was all about sports. Every spare moment was spent playing, practicing, and striving to be the best athlete I could be. Once I discovered football, a whole new world of possibilities opened up, and my focus shifted entirely to becoming a pro athlete.

In college, I was awarded Freshman All-American Defensive End and Big Ten Defensive Freshman of The Year. In my sophomore year, I was an All-Conference Defensive End, and in my Junior year, Preseason Mel Kiper ranked me the second defensive end to go in the draft. My sports career was cut short due to an injury, leaving me no choice but to pursue a different path.

Following the end of my football career, I became an entrepreneur. There was so much that I had to learn about business, and the learning curve made it difficult at times. Although my first venture did not achieve the success I had hoped for, it served as a stepping stone that allowed me to create valuable connections, acquire knowledge, and, most importantly, gain experience that would use time and time again. I picked myself up and tried again, and again, and as a result, have reached the success I have today, with several companies in various industries hitting the 8-figure mark. Each of those experiences has made the next business easier and more successful.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love biking, and I highly recommend taking a bike ride around the city. It allows you to explore parts of the city that you may have never seen before. It’s a wonderful way to experience all that Phoenix has to offer.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m a board member and co-founder of the Valley Guardians, is a 501c-3 charity that offers mentorship, leadership, and educational opportunities to underprivileged children in Phoenix, Arizona. Valley Guardians is a charity that’s all about empowering underprivileged children. We equip them with the tools they need to succeed and break the cycle of poverty. Our approach covers four key areas: education, mentorship, financial aid, and medical assistance. But what makes us different is that we operate with a $0 budget. That means every donation goes straight to the kids who need it most.
