We had the good fortune of connecting with Alicia McClure-Whitehead and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alicia, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson that my business has taught me is patience. Timing is everything and everything that is meant to be, will always be when it is time to be!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Chef Redd’s Kitchen, is where culinary creativity meets mouthwatering deliciousness. Our journey began with a passion for reimagining traditional smoked turkey legs! We are proud to offer a tantalizing weekly rotating Gourmet Turkey Leg menu that is sure to satisfy all your unique cravings.

What sets Chef Redd’s Kitchen apart from others is, we are the only company in the state that specializes in Gourmet Stuffed Turkey Legs. I have over 20 different variations of stuffings and growing!

I am most excited about the opportunities I have received and will receive in the future to further grow my business into a franchise. As a member of Local First Arizona’s Community Kitchen, I have been given front row access to other Culinary and business professionals that have imparted so much knowledge on how to be successful by offering business workshops and one on one meetings.

I got to where I am today in business with a lot of trials and errors but also ALOT of blood, sweat and tears. I am no stranger to hard work and I have been blessed with the ability to overcome any obstacle by thinking critically and surrounding myself with like minded individuals who continuously challenge me to dig deeper within myself to exceed my goals.

The biggest lesson I have learned is, the only person that can control your success or failure is you. I have also learned that attitude is everything and sets the tone for growth and greatness!

I want the world to know that Chef Redd’s Kitchen doesn’t just offer Gourmet Stuffed Turkey Legs but also provides catering and private dining options for all occasions.
