Hi PANG, what do you attribute your success to?
The success of the Pang Vang LLC brand comes from a collection of values and vision. Throughout the 13 years of Pang Vang LLC we continue to refine and grow the brand by fostering a productive and motivated team. In 2017 when I expanded the business from a 1 person, 1 educator salon and academy to a team, my mission to find staff members to build my team was to find talented individuals who share my vision. Maintaining a commitment to quality and continuous innovation and building strong relationships with customers & those who are willing to learn, adapt, and embrace change was essential for the growth of each individual and on the same coin, the brand. Success often involves overcoming setbacks and failures but the trust we developed with each other & our customers offered us confidence to pivot & bounce back from adversity we faced throughout the last 7 years of expansion of Pang Vang LLC.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Pang Vang LLC is a beauty and education-focused business that takes great pride in creating welcoming and inclusive experiences for our guests since 2010. Our services range from hair, skin, lash extensions, permanent makeup, nail services, to educational courses offered at our academy.

What sets Pang Vang LLC apart is our deep commitment to communication, education, and empathy. We prioritize building strong relationships with our guests, students, customers, and practitioners. Our goal is to ensure that everyone who interacts with us feels valued and supported throughout their journey with us. Whether that’s as a guest to our services or students seeking continued education and mentorship.

Getting to where we are today in business was not without its challenges. The path to success was certainly not easy, but through perseverance, dedication, and a supportive team, we overcame obstacles and grew stronger. We learned valuable lessons along the way, such as the importance of adaptability in a dynamic industry, the power of effective communication in building trust, and the necessity of continuous learning and improvement.

One of the most rewarding aspects of our journey has been the trust and support we’ve received from our team, clients, and supporters. This trust has inspired me to pursue a career in teaching, where I can share my knowledge and experiences more intentionally and effectively. By refining and sharpening my teaching skills, I aim to provide the best learning experiences possible, making beauty industry education accessible and adaptable to individuals at all levels of expertise.

Ultimately, I want the world to know that Pang Vang LLC is more than just a business; it’s a community built on principles of communication, education, and empathy. We are committed to empowering individuals in the beauty industry, whether they are beginners or seasoned professionals, by providing exceptional services and education that leave a lasting impact.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Alright, so if it was me and my best friend the itinerary would have to offers a mix of outdoor activities, culinary delights, and a touch of glamour with the possibility of celebrity sightings. It’s a perfect way to experience Milwaukee’s charm and excitement. The Milwaukee Public Market, is where you can explore local vendors and grab brunch by the Milwaukee River and enjoy the lively atmosphere and delicious food options.

Then head down to Lake Park, where we can take a leisurely walk along the lakefront and find a cozy spot to sit and relax to enjoy the wonderful view of a landscape designed by renowned Frederick Law Olmsted, landscape architect best known for his design and creation of Central Park in New York and the U.S. Capitol grounds of Washington, D.C.

For dinner, indulge in a rooftop experience at the TRADE Hotel surrounded with panoramic views of the city skyline. Where we’ll likely run into a celebrity, especially during basketball season when Bucks players and performers often frequent the Milwaukee area.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shoutout to my past and present mentors most recently, Caitlin of Aveda IBW in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. All of my students, my team, my family, and friends. Shout out to the past and present Independent business tenants at the Crystal Eyes Studios and Style & Grace Hair Salons by Pang Vang LLC. The amazing education and workshops from Harvard, UW-Milwaukee, the Hmong Community throughout the midwest whom has recognized, follow, and supported all of the businesses operated by the Pang Vang LLC brand.
