Meet Gabriella Siciliano | Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriella Siciliano and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gabriella, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Having an open mind, open heart, and drive to help others is what I attribute to my success in real estate. The main reason I am in real estate, is so that I can help others as they navigate different chapters of their lives. Whether it be somebody’s first time buying a home, a couple’s first home after marriage, upsizing after having a child, downsizing for empty nesters, helping people navigate the sale of a home during divorce, or helping a family with a sale of a home after the passing of a loved one; I want my clients to know they’re in good hands. There are so many unique seasons we as humans experience, I want to make sure my client’s know that no matter where they are in their personal journeys, I am ready to step in and make their lives a little easier!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career journey has been a long and ever evolving one. After high school I went to college for my Bachelor’s Degree in Peace & Global Studies. My initial intention was to work in politics, but after some life experiences, I decided that wasn’t the path for me (I’m far too much of an empath). I really honed in on the idea that I love helping people. Once I figured that out, I decided to get my Masters Degree in Secondary Education. Shortly after my grad school graduation, I moved to Arizona with my partner, and we started a new life here. I became a high school teacher, teaching seniors government & economics, while also coaching cheerleading. While I loved teaching and coaching, there is no denying that teachers in Arizona are vastly underpaid and overworked. This was not sustainable for the quality of life I wanted to enjoy. I have always had dreams of traveling the world, immersing myself in other cultures, and connecting with people all around the globe. After leaving teaching, I shifted to real estate at the start of the pandemic (and what a time it was to start!). I entered the real estate world, hitting the ground running.
The work is hard, but it is rewarding. Not a single day is the same from the last and not a single client has the same needs. These are two things I absolutely love about real estate! It means that I constantly am challenged, and have to adapt. I am blessed to work at a brokerage where we are all like family, and are constantly helping one another evolve and grow!
I work with clients from all socio-economic backgrounds and this is something I pride myself on, as not all agents are willing to work with all price points. I don’t care if you are looking for a $30,000 mobile home, or a $5million single family home, your needs are my priority and I will tailor your experience to your exact needs. I love the ability to educate and guide my clients throughout the process.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I absolutely love the city of Phoenix and its surrounding towns! When friends and family visit I have a list of go-to places for them to check out, and the same list is usually what I recommend to my real estate clients!
If you are an outdoorsy person, hiking in Arizona is a MUST! I love Papago Park for an easy, enjoyable hike, but if you’re looking for a challenge check out Echo Canyon Trailhead at Camelback Mountain (I definitely recommend a sunrise hike, as there is nothing like it!). The Desert Botanical Gardens is another must see! With their beautiful plants and scenery, as well as their different art exhibits, you won’t be disappointed! Make sure to grab lunch or a cocktail at Gertrudes when you are done with your visit at the gardens. Gertrudes has amazing cocktails, and delicious food with tons of locally sourced ingredients! For drinks and tapas, check out Dahlia Tapas, Tequila, and Wine! The owner Audrey Corley, has currated an intimate experience that won’t dissapoint! I personally love their marinated olives, pan con tomate, chilled argentinian shrimp, and their tostada trio! All of their ingredients are fresh, and the atmosphere is welcoming. If you enjoy cocktails, I would recommend trying their El Carajillo (tequila & espresso liqour, yes please!).
Morning coffee is a must at Copper Star, located on 7th avenue in the Melrose district! Grab a delicious coffee, customized to your taste, then walk around the Melrose district and enjoy all of the vintage and antique shopping your heart could possibly desire! There is so much more that Phoenix has to offer, but this is a great starting point!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people that have had a hand in helping my success become my reality. From the time I was a young child, my parents always told me that I could do anything I could put my mind to. So many little girls are constantly told “you’re pretty” or “you’re beautiful,” and while that is nice to build confidence, not enough young girls are told they are smart, resilient, brave, go-getters! Society focuses so much on how girls and women look, that as a collective it becomes tied to our identities. I am beyond grateful that my mom always told me that I was smart, driven, and capapable of whatever facets of life I wanted to try my hand at!
In my personal life, my partner Whitney, truly grounds me. She keeps me sane on the days where my head is spinning, and I am forever grateful that she is always there for me.
When it comes to real estate specifically I have to truly thank my mentor Ashley Howell. Without her, I would not be where I am today. Ashley was kind enough to take me under her wing when I first started out, and continues to be there not only as a colleague, but as a good friend. She was patient with me, and I think we could all use a bit of that in this crazy world we live in.
