We had the good fortune of connecting with Chanel Bevell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chanel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted the freedom to be home with my children, yet still do what I am passionate about. I get to create beautiful images for my clients, and still raise my little ones.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I create Fine Art Photographs in studio and outdoors for my clients. I love to bring the magic of every moment to life, through my photos. With Fine Art, I try to strike a balance between realism and painting… a photo that begs for just a little more consideration.
I have been studying under some of the finest portrait photographers of my time, and I still am constantly looking for new inspiration and ways to fine tune my craft. It is truly a labor of love, when it comes to my photography.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Arizona has such incredible dining experiences, and lush destinations (if they irrigate)!
I would recommend Makitto Sushi in Mesa, and Caldwells County BBQ in Gilbert for amazing food!
Best Boba in town is Tiger Sugar in Mesa!
Best shopping in my opinion is Orange Patch Too in Mesa, if you enjoy boutique goodies!
The most beautiful place to visit (and stay overnight) is Saguaro Lake Ranch

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am so grateful to my incredible family- they never stop believing in me, and being cheerleaders at every step!
