We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla Olmstead and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kayla, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Natural solutions really do work! A lot of people assume that only over the counter medications and supplements are what will help you. But if we look back 50-100 years, pharmaceuticals were not common place. They used herbs, oils, plants, and other natural sources to help with their emotional, physical, and spiritual health! This mindset is slowly switching and it will change the way we think about health and wellness as a society!

What should our readers know about your business?
My biggest challenge to overcome is the thought process that is instilled in society about health and wellness. A lot of people still believe that pharmaceuticals are the only resource for their wellness and health. Overcoming this thought has been hard and I’m still working at it. I’m hoping that by sharing products and education about natural solutions people will start to rewrite their brain about all of it!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would check out Downtown Gilbert on Gilbert Rd. It’s very eclectic and exciting. They have a bunch of events and small businesses to support! It’s very Route 66 and I love it!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family is my number one supporter! My mom works with me on a number of projects. My husband helps with a lot of my processes. I wouldn’t be where I am without their support!
