Hi Brittny, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
One of the most important factors behind the success of Trades of Brit is, I never want to stop learning, growing and bettering myself. I am a life long learner and I believe that in order to evolve you have to continue to grow and develop. Also I create products I love and trust on my family.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is deeply rooted in a passion for natural skincare and a commitment to creating products that genuinely heal and nourish the skin without harsh chemicals. At Trades of Brit, what sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to using ingredients derived from nature—each one chosen for its proven benefits and purity. We prioritize transparency, ensuring that our customers know exactly what they’re putting on their skin and how it will benefit them. I ’m most proud of the community we’ve built—a community that values quality, sustainability, and ethical practices. Seeing our products make a positive impact on people’s lives is incredibly rewarding. I’m also excited about the journey ahead, we continue to innovate and expand our offerings while staying true to our core values.

Getting to where I am today professionally has been a journey filled with both triumphs and challenges. It wasn’t easy, especially in the beginning when I was balancing a full time teaching career, building my business and family. There were times when I questioned whether I could keep going, but my passion for what I do and the support of my family, particularly my husband, kept me moving forward.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of perseverance and flexibility. Challenges are inevitable, but how you respond to them defines your success. I’ve learned to adapt, to find creative solutions, and to stay focused on my long-term vision.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that we are committed to authenticity and quality. Trades of Brit isn’t just a skincare brand; it’s a reflection of my belief in the power of nature and the importance of caring for our skin in the most holistic way possible. Our story is one of passion, resilience, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Planning a week-long trip for my best friend would be a mix of showcasing the vibrant culture, natural beauty, and hidden gems of Arizona, especially around the Phoenix area. Here’s how I’d make sure they have the best time ever:

Phoenix
Morning: Start with breakfast at The Farm at South Phoenix—a cozy spot with farm-fresh ingredients. Their food is good and the atmosphere is beautiful.

Visit the Desert Botanical Garden to get a feel for the unique desert flora. It’s a serene place to start the trip.

Lunch at Chelsea Kitchen—industrial chic with some amazing food!

Take a stroll through Roosevelt Row to explore the local art scene, followed by dinner at Latha for some African cultural flavors.

Hang Out: The Churchill is a fun spot for food, drinks, and socializing in a cool, container-style marketplace.

Scottsdale Fun

Breakfast at The Henry in Scottsdale—great coffee and delicious breakfast burritos.

Explore Old Town Scottsdale, full of unique shops, galleries, and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.

Lunch at Olive & Ivy, with a lovely patio overlooking the canal. Perfect for a light Mediterranean meal.

Relax with a spa treatment at The Phoenician Resort, then dinner at Toca Madera—a high-energy Mexican steakhouse with a lively atmosphere.

I would do a day trip in Sedona and then take a trip to the Grand Canyon.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband, he is the voice that keeps me grounded. I’m a dreamer who believes that if I can dream it, we can achieve it. He’s the one who reminds me that turning dreams into reality requires a solid foundation. His support is unwavering—he not only encourages me to keep going but also steps in to take care of our kids while I’m away at markets. He truly deserves recognition in my story!
