Meet Chaz Fort | Founder of Madison Engineering, LLC. & Engineer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chaz Fort and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chaz, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
” Big dreams aren’t easy. You have to go after your dreams and not put them on hold”. – Dany Garcia
What this quote means: If there’s the smallest nudge from within telling you to go for it, then suit up and start walking because you’ll never realize your potential being afraid to fail.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart? It’s my resilience, my passion for innovation, and my belief that no challenge is too big to conquer. I hit rock bottom once, and that was all the motivation I needed to learn from my mistakes and tackle obstacles head-on. My passion? It’s about staying ahead of the unknown — and the only way to do that is to jump into the deep end, keep an open mind, and remain calm, no matter what waves come your way.
Was it easy to get here? Not at all! If it were easy, everyone would be doing it. I’ve made it this far by asking for help when needed, diving deep into product research, and seeing failure not as a setback but as a springboard — an opportunity to grow stronger, smarter, and more determined.
My professional life mirrors my journey as a Ninja Warrior. Just like in training and competition, I bring forward-thinking and a no-quit attitude to every day my everyday life because the story isn’t finished.
At Madison Engineering, we embody that spirit. We’re a low-volume 3D printing, additive manufacturing, and design company with a twist: driven by diversity and a relentless curiosity for sustainable, eco-friendly technologies. We don’t just develop biodegradable products; we create custom solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.
So, grab your surfboards and join us on this incredible journey, because the world is about to find out exactly who we are!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my mom, who is the main reason I became an engineer. Without her support and guidance, none of my achievements would have been possible. I still remember being 16 and riding to school one day in our hometown of Springfield, TN.
We stopped at a red light, and my mom looked up in the rearview mirror and asked, ‘It’s time for you to decide what you want to do with your life.’ I remember thinking, ‘I guess I’ll go to school to learn how the Nintendo was made.’ A few months later, I was enrolled in an engineering program focused on computer hardware design and programming, and now I able to build my own system at Madison Engineering.
I’m incredibly grateful to her and to God for opening doors and allowing me to experience some amazing opportunities. I also want to give credit to the Thunderbird School of Global Management at ASU here in Phoenix for helping me reach the next level on a global scale
