Meet Katrina Jiang | Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Katrina Jiang and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Katrina, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My vision is to create a clinic that bridges the gap between holistic and western medicine, providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere for healing. I am deeply committed to integrating a diverse range of therapies to not only prevent and treat disease but also to promote optimal health. By combining evidence-based practices with holistic approaches, my goal is to offer personalized, patient-centered care that empowers individuals on their journey to wellness.

What should our readers know about your business?
**Tell us more about your business. What sets you apart from others?**
My business is built on a foundation of bridging the gap between holistic and western medicine, offering a unique approach that combines the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with evidence-based practices. Growing up in a rich Chinese cultural background, TCM was seamlessly integrated into our daily lives, from adapting our diets to the seasons to using acupuncture and herbal remedies to restore balance. This deep-rooted connection to TCM, coupled with my professional training and personal healing journey, enables me to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere where patients can achieve optimal health. What sets my practice apart is the emphasis on personalized, preventive care and the integration of therapies tailored to each individual’s needs.
**What are you most proud of or excited about?**
I’m most proud of the opportunity to share the ancient wisdom of TCM with a wider audience. Seeing patients embrace these practices and experience significant improvements in their health is incredibly rewarding. I’m also excited about creating a space where holistic and western medicine coexist, empowering people to take an active role in their well-being.
**How did you get to where you are today business-wise? Was it easy?**
My journey to this point was far from easy. After moving to the U.S. to pursue a master’s degree in business, I worked in marketing and data analytics before chronic neck and back pain led me back to TCM for healing. Experiencing the profound benefits firsthand inspired me to shift my career path. Becoming a Licensed Acupuncturist required a leap of faith, significant training, and a commitment to helping others.
**How did you overcome the challenges?**
Overcoming challenges required resilience and adaptability. Transitioning from a corporate career to holistic healthcare was a major shift. I relied on my passion for TCM, my personal experiences, and the belief that I could make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Surrounding myself with supportive mentors, continually learning, and staying patient-focused helped me navigate the obstacles along the way.
**What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way?**
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of balance—whether in health, work, or personal life. I’ve also learned that healing is a journey that requires compassion, dedication, and openness. Lastly, listening to my patients and their unique stories has taught me that the best care is personalized care.
**What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?**
My story is one of cultural heritage, personal transformation, and the desire to make a difference. I want the world to know that my practice is not just about treating symptoms but about empowering individuals to live their healthiest, most balanced lives. Whether through acupuncture, herbal medicine, or lifestyle recommendations, I am here to guide and support my patients on their journey to wellness.
