Meet Bradford Trojan | Actor & Musician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bradford Trojan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bradford, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am inspired by my friends, family, fellow actors and musicians and anyone who is a genuine kind and loving person.. I feel like those folks who are passionate and compassionate in their craft really bring me inspiration to watch and collaborate with.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I began my path as a music lover turned musician. After years of playing with bands and solo ventures, I began more and more live performing in avant guarde theatre and vaudeville. I took a turn towards acting for film.in my early twenties and had a long hiatus from that until my mid thirties. I don’t think I was ready to go to some of the emotional states when I was younger that needs to be contacted in acting. Also, it is a tough business! I feel way less stressed these days when I don’t land the part from an audition. I have learned to really love the process and do it for the love of the craft. If I get an audition then I use it as a chance to connect creatively and no more than to have a fun time and learn as much as I can from the experience.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
These days I am much of a homebody, but I will rally and take friends out to the desert for hiking. I also like the Desert Museum. I love going to the Tucson Herb Store which is a beautiful spot for teas and natural beauty care. I’ll make sure they eat at Turmerico and probably will fall asleep before the night life happens! Depending on who it is, I’ll take them on a bike tour to all the filming locations for the movie “Revenge of the Nerds” which was completely filmed in Tucson in the 80’s! I really love The Loft Cinema. and The Screening Room; they are both wonderful arthouse cinemas that always have great programming. I’m sure we will also end up at Time Market for lunches or dinners.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wouldn’t be where I am at in life without my loving friends, family and fellow artists. So, if you know me then this shoutout is for you!
