Hi Benjamin, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I first arrived in Arizona, I recognized a notable lack of unity and connection among artists throughout the state and the local community. Unifying everyone is the ultimate objective and the driving force behind our efforts.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Azwaytooactive holds a unique position, as there is nothing comparable in the state. Growing up, we have always been fascinated by East Coast culture, as presented by prominent media outlets, as well as the cultural expressions of the West Coast and the South. Although Texas boasts some exceptional media outlets, the Southwest is underrepresented in this area. The common misconception that Arizona is solely composed of cacti and desert landscapes is particularly frustrating, as statements like “Arizona has no culture” only serve to motivate us to demonstrate to the world that Arizona is, in fact, a vibrant and dynamic region that deserves recognition.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Have to stop by taco boys at least once

If it’s for a week. It’ll be nice to take two day up north to Sedona or flagstaff
