Meet Kye Rino | Father and Owner of The Monster Card Shop

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kye Rino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kye, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
The Monster Card Shop is proud to support over 80 different youth teams, programs, and High schools. We strive to make the East Valley and Arizona a better place for the youth. By being able to share our resources with the community we are able to help provide families a more affordable option for youth sports teams and leagues. We also love that we can provide a safe space for teams to come and join together. We love having team parties and get togethers and educating the youth about cards and collecting in general.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Monster Card Shop separates itself by valuing each and every customer and also valuing our community as a whole. We love to volunteer our time and resources to those that are in need regularly. We offer a place where kids can learn, and earn. We love having the help of the local youth and we love to teach them about the hobby. We have taught classes on commerce, served our local Salvation Army, and sponsored over 85 different youth organizations. Seeing our logo on jerseys, on a scoreboard, and on banners around Little League fields has become a staple of the East Valley Community

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First of all Id take them to a Diamondbacks game. We love our Diamondbacks and enjoy our time at Chase Field. Our favorite restaurant to whine and dine someone in the East Valley is Bourbon and Bones. For a large gathering Cauldwell BBQ is our go to!
Taking a trip to Sedona would be at the top of the list but making a quick stop in Jerome would have to be up there.
We love taking family and friends to Spring Training when in town as well. We are a Baseball family through and through!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people that have been involved in the success of The Monster Card Shop. The late nights and sacrifice that my family endures for us to provide the best we have to the community is so vital to what the shop has become.
Our customers who share the joy in person and on social media spreading the word about our shop also has to be recognized.
All of our staff who pours time, effort, and energy into what we do is equally important and without them the Shop could not go on in its day to day operations.
We thank everyone for all the support and kind words throughout the years
