We had the good fortune of connecting with Myesha Barbieto and we’ve shared our conversation below.

One of the most rewarding things about getting to know so many entrepreneurs and creatives is seeing first-hand how many of them are focused on so much more than just financial results. So many of the folks we connect with are focused on having a positive social impact on their community or the world at large. Can you talk to us about how you are helping the community?
Emergency IV has provided IV therapy to the people in the community for over 7 years. Our patients who are often immunocompromised or unable to leave their homes can receive treatments without the risk of unnecessary exposure to infections. We treat people with various conditions such as cancer patients and survivors, people with Chrons and Celiac disease, and the often unknown POTS condition. We also help people with Migraines, fatigue, and dehydration.

We are blessed and fortunate to provide a service that improves the quality of our patient’s lives, both physically and mentally. Being adequately hydrated is essential not only when someone is sick but to aide the immune system and improve mental function.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our passion for helping others feel their best is what sets Emergency IV apart. My team is formed by people who share the same values I do. From a young age, I strived to be healthy and active, and it has been a long learning journey that fuels me to help others achieve their well-being goals.

I grew up doing dance and martial arts and was a lifeguard and swim instructor as a teen. That started the journey to discovering how much I enjoy helping others. Later, I became a personal trainer,  an aerobics instructor, and even a stunt woman but being an RN is my biggest passion and accomplishment.
My fitness background and knowledge as an RN help me understand the importance of adequate hydration levels in the human body, and it is crucial to helping others achieve their optimal levels.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Arizona is a great place to find alternatives for health treatments. We have the best of western and Naturopathic medicine as well as healthy activities and food options.

My friends and family love visiting because of the endless options, but my favorites are The Valley Ho and Talking Stick Resort. In addition to excellent, consistent service, The Valley Ho is pet-friendly, giving my 3 French bulldogs royalty treatment. The Talking Stick Resort has everything from concerts, pool parties, dancing to a clean casino with excellent dining options. Still, it is also a great place to go for a relaxing staycation with a fabulous spa.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shout to Dr. Veronica Boyer, our medical director. Dr. Boyer’s exemplary practice reputation is well-deserving of recognition to Emergency IV’s standards and ethics are modeled after Dr. Boyers’ practice.

My next shout out goes to our phenomenal patients. Their support and loyalty for the past 7 years is the reason Emergency IV continues to strive.
We have become part of many families, sharing their struggles and cheering their achievements. We are blessed to be welcomed into their lives and to be trusted with their unique life experiences.
Thank you to the Emergency IV team for the quality of the work and the compassion you offer Emergency IV’s patients.
We are honored to service our established and future patients. Thank you, everyone, for believing in Emergency IV.
