We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrew Sinichar and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrew, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I have strong feelings about risk what it is and what it means to me. Some people look at me and say I take a lot of risks. They speak about my risk tolerance. For me everything is risky it just depends on the risk you want. Working at a company for 30 years is risky. I personally would rather fail than not try. Everything I have from my relationships to my businesses is because I took a chance and risked it.
Risk has always been something that I leaned more towards. It is an opportunity for me to learn and develop. I believe that business is the ultimate self-development vehicle. As I progress through risky situations they don’t look risky to me anymore. I believe that our relationship with the word risk has a lot to do with where we are in the pursuit of our dreams.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I won Vixel Agency, a social media marketing agency. I also own two selfie museums in Arizona. There are some other small things I own like an AirBNB and Turo a sports car. My journey was sprung from love. I moved to Arizona after meeting my soulmate on Instagram. Moving here in September of 2020 with 3 grand in cash and rent to pay. I scaled my Agency from $800 – $25k in three months. I did that by working night and day prospecting in every way possible. I was backed in the corner and I proved to myself I dominate in the corner.
After that, I opened the first Pixypros in Tempe. It didn’t take long to take off. It was an almost overnight success. 3 months later I opened the second location in Arrowhead Towne Center. Pixypros is 7 months old as I write this with two locations. Was it easy? Not at all, it was the hardest thing I ever did in my life. I evolved as a person building three businesses at the same time.
I want anyone reading this to know it doesn’t matter where you are that you can reach your goals. Don’t underestimate what you can do in a year. I work every day to think bigger make more moves and empower others. A big part of our business is to create opportunities for content creators and artists to succeed.
Everything that I do comes back to my definition of success. For my success is how many lives are better because I lived.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my friends come I have to take them ATVing at Arizona outdoor fun. There we would ATV and shoot the 50 caliber sniper and machine guns. After that, we head back for some good food at any of my favs. I am a big foodie so depends on the mood iv got a spot. My go-to is old town Scottsdale there’s a bunch of good spots next to each other. We would go to either Ocean 44 or Maple and Ash. We would get hammered and hit one of the nightclubs in oldtown. I personally like the nightlife here more than in New York.
We would spend one night scooting around Tempe town lake then grabbing a drink at Killer Whale Sex Club Down Town. I definitely would take them to both of my selfie museums. We would hang out at my place and cook a lot. A big part of me and my friends is vibing out. We talk about ideas and what’s next with a few good drinks. So much of my life has been going in a certain direction along the way I made friends that are the same.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people and books. I don’t think anyone’s self-made there was a lot of people behind me. The first person I would like to thank would be my mom and god. She set the example of sacrifice and work ethic. The second person would be my girlfriend Elora Tran who without her I couldn’t do it as fast as I’m doing it. For authors, Robert Kiyosaki, Napoleon Hill, Grant Cardone, Darren Hardy just to name a few.
