Meet Bayley Jordan | Professional Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bayley Jordan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bayley, what do you want your legacy to be?
More than just beautiful images, I would love people to remember that I was very community and service focused.
When I started my small business, I wanted to make sure first to serve my clients well, anticipating and recognizing their unique desires and needs per project, then going above-and-beyond to exceed their expectations in terms of client experience and my photography work overall.
When I started my small business, I also wanted to give back however possible. So far that has meant becoming a Leave No Trace Aware Photographer and Keep Nature Wild Ambassador to help preserve and protect the beautiful outdoor locations I love to shoot as well as making donations to various important causes through my aerial and landscape print sales. I can’t wait to continue to build upon that legacy as my small business continues to grow.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I ask all of my clients to consider me their own personal professional photographer. My focus is geared toward capturing high-end images celebrating everyday moments at their most romantic along with the unforgettable experiences my clients can’t wait to capture on camera and look back on for the rest of their lives (such as engagements, anniversaries, and while traveling to new destinations).
As an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot, I am thrilled to also offer aerial imagery as part of my packages as it allows me to provide fresh perspectives above and beyond those offered during a standard portrait session on the ground.
Years of education, experience, hard work, and practice have gone into my business. Initially working in photography part-time was essential while also working toward a college degree or working full-time jobs outside of my small business. Some days may have been harder than others but every day has absolutely been worth it! Punctuality, professionalism, and perseverance go far!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As Arizonans, we are lucky to live in such a diverse State! In the Valley, I would start in Old Town Scottsdale – there are so many wonderful local businesses to explore and so many great photo spots. The variety of indoor and outdoor spaces are wonderful to wander around early in the morning to beat the desert heat.
What’s better is to start for an early morning outing as the sun begins to rise over iconic landscapes and cacti surrounding so much of the area – the colors are captivating (with blushing pink hues shifting to a gorgeous golden glow as the sun peeks over the horizon). Other highlights are typically the Desert Botanical Garden or Saguaro Lake (both just beautiful!). Being from Northern Arizona, I can’t get enough of those dreamy desert scenes.
Time permitting, experiencing Flagstaff, Sedona, and Grand Canyon area landscapes is a must – each awe-inspiring in their own ways.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Other than all of my loved ones, I would like to thank Kelley Carey, Yasmin Tajik, and Amanda Ochs for being wonderfully supportive, offering helpful advice any time, and being happy to help whenever I’ve needed a second shooter or assistance in the past. I feel so lucky to live in Arizona due to the overall attitude of professional artists and entrepreneurs truly emphasizing community.
