We had the good fortune of connecting with Areli Rivera and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Areli, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Life itself and circumstances led me to make decisions where I could spend time with my children, have an income and at the same time have the flexibility to arrange my personal life. I was going through very difficult moments in my personal life and I no longer had the head for so much; between a job of 8 hours or more, my small children and problems at home, the first thing that occurred to me was to start my own business because I reached my tolerance limits. I already had experience in the field for many years and in my previous jobs I was in charge of the company and supervising the work, so I said, no more. I went from place to place asking if they would rent me a desk to see clients, until I found a place, bought a computer and a printer, made business cards and let my friends and acquaintances know so they could spread the word.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business specializes in immigration procedures with 15 years of experience in the field. My business is distinguished by the treatment given to each client in their particular case. In Global Immigration, time is dedicated to each case to resolve it in the best way, without haste and with great attention. What makes me the happiest is hearing from each client how comfortable they feel coming to the office, the peace and confidence that is transmitted to them, and how safe and confident they feel coming from the first time. At Global Immigration we create friends, family, not clients. Global Immigration has grown thanks to the references of other clients who are satisfied with the result and the service. I have learned that quality is better than quantity. It is a huge personal satisfaction to know that people come to me and tell me that they trust me and that They feel a good vibe even without knowing me, that gives me more encouragement to continue and put even more effort into each case. I want the world to know that here at Global Immigration we do our work with the heart and with passion.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love nature, off-roading and photography are my favorite hobbies. I would take my best friend hiking to some of the beautiful hiking trails in town and out of town here in AZ. I would give my friend a ride in my off-roading Jeep along the rivers in town. I would take my best friend to have breakfast at the Farm after great hike.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First of all I want to thank my family, especially my mother, Martha Bojorquez, who supported me with my children while I went out to be an entrepreneur. To my two children, Dylan and Zaylee for being patient and waiting for mom every day. To my life coach, Mirna Pineda, for guiding me in my life and giving me the tools to start. To the Fuerza Local organization for the business education they gave me. To my clients who, without knowing me, have trusted me and my friends for recommending and supporting me.
