We had the good fortune of connecting with Tricia Heatherington and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tricia, how does your business help the community?
A few years ago I started making handmade goat milks soaps on our farm for the family because of our dry skin and eczema we had. After a lot of research on what all-natural products to use with our raw goats milk. I came up with the perfect formula. I noticed after our first use that our skin felt hydrated and the eczema was clearing up. Our soaps were filled with nutrient- rich vitamins which was conditioning our skin. I started giving out samples to family members, they were falling in love and was hyped how flawless their skin looked and felt. With that being said, I wanted to share my goat milk soaps to the world and help anyone that had any skin sensitivities look and feel comfortable in their own skin. From there I started a online website (store) and joined Farmer’s Market to help get my goat milks soaps in people’s homes and educate them why choose our goat milk soaps vs store bought soaps. I am thankful and love that our customers express how their skin feels cleansed/hydrated, their eczema or psoriasis has cleared up. This makes my heart happy that I am able to share my goat milk soaps with everyone in the world.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So, I have multiple jobs as I have my farm and raise goats, chickens, turkeys, cows, and 3 great pyrenees ( to protect our livestock) also, I work in the healthcare field part time as a patient coordinator, ED Tech and a Lab Tech and my goat milk soaps business. I have a passion helping others in any way I can. As for my animals they are my number one priority. I always want them to feel loved, spoiled and well taken care of. With life on the farm or in a work environment you learn new things everyday. You take any obstacles/hardships and grow into a stronger wiser human being and a stronger family.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would stay here in AZ! I would love to take them to Dillon’s’ or Roadhouse to watch some bull riding, eat some smoked bbq and of course country dancing. You can’t beat a night out with some great food, dancing, and meeting new people.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to give a big shout out to all of our customers! Our hearts can’t express how thankful we are for your orders and loving our goat milk soaps.!
