We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Brooks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I feel like following my own instincts, regardless of what everyone else was doing, caused me a great amount of success. Success is measured and looks different for everyone. But when I ended 2021, and the numbers showed I tripled my business, I felt like I could celebrate that as a huge success. Following my instincts to continue to grow and expand my team from 4 assistants to 18 assistants contributed to that next level of success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
By hiring Virtually Brooks, you not only are receiving professional and highly qualified Executive Assistants but you’re receiving elite service. We not only manage your professional environment but in return, you’re receiving time back in your schedule. When you invest in your business, by hiring a Virtual Assistant, you will see growth in more ways than one. We teach you the art of delegation which is where you’ll find yourself reaching the next level of growth that couldn’t have been done without getting time back in your day.

Making an investment in your business and learning to delegate are the two most powerful tools that are often overlooked. Accepting the fact that you can try to do it all but your time is best spent NOT doing it all, is a huge key to success. At Virtually Brooks we have mastered the art of teaching you how to let go, and let us manage the mundane tasks that keep your business running. This allows you to focus on the big picture and specifically the income-producing tasks at hand.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week-long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite place to unwind and get away for a weekend is in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia is a premier destination for luxury and relaxation. It has the most comfortable rooms with priceless views, anywhere on the property. It’s located near all the best restaurants in town but also has great food at the resort too. The best part of this getaway is their Joya Spa, it’s remarkable and unmatched by any spa in the Valley. From their massage services to the stunning and beautiful lounge to the private pool. It’s perfect for a couples getaway or a girl’s weekend retreat. From any spot on their property, you can see the stunning mountain views and soak up the Arizona sunshine. Nothing beats the look and feel that this resort brings to a local or someone visiting from out of town.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
When looking back there are many people that could represent a stepping stone in my journey to success. In the beginning, I was introduced to the world of Virtual Assistants by the first person I mentored under. But even before that, I would say that ALL the corporate jobs and the many years of working in different industries with different types of bosses taught me a lot as well. Those shared experiences have been very influential to me owning my business. Having real-life examples of working with people I loved and those in management that I disliked helped shape me into who I am as a boss and as a business owner. Including each client we currently and previously served has also helped shape my business in regards to helping us know who we are and what clients we best serve. We started off very general and now over the years have niched down into specific industries based on where we found our strengths. I wouldn’t have the strong business model I have today if it wasn’t for learning something new from each client along the way.
