Meet Vic Villa | Musical artist & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vic Villa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vic, how do you define success?
Success is living your life, loving what you’ve accomplished, loving what you do on a daily basis, and being fully content with the amount of money you make. Not everyone has to be rich, and not everyone has to be a famous rapper in order to be successful, much like beauty; success is in the eye of the beholder. I’m a great example of this, from the outside looking in, allot of people say that I’m successful and would love to have the life I am living, in my eyes I’m not successful enough yet and will not be content until I’ve reached all of my goals, once I do, that’s when I will have reached my definition of success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from other artists in the industry is the extensive knowledge of the business side of the industry I have. I’ve been making myself go viral since I was 17, setting up all my own events, and also taking myself on tours. Not to mention I always make sure that I’m not the only one making money, I treat myself as a company and there are always jobs open and ways to make money off my name for my close friends and the people around me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If someone’s coming to visit me for a week in Arizona we will 100% be stopping by the varsity tavern in tempe at some point, I think they have amazing food there. Night life wise, old Town scottsdale has all the popping clubs so we would definitely take a night an go club hopping starting off the night at Casas. After we recover from our night in old Town Arizona also has some of the best hiking spots!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve met allot of amazing people along the way, but 2 people I really need to give credit to for guiding me in my early days of the entertainment industry would be my uncle Ralph (Twisted 50 record label) and my good friend Cam (Repvblick Presents).
