Meet Aliya Little | Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Aliya Little and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aliya, how do you think about risk?
I think it’s important to take risks. Sometimes it can be scary to take that risk because you’re afraid of it not working out in your favor but you have to look at everything as a learning experience and appreciate it, good or bad. I feel like I learned the most about myself by taking risks because it allowed me to develop myself as I went through these different experiences.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Princess Behavior was created based off just an idea that I wanted to bring to life. I never saw myself as a entrepreneur but I knew that I did eventually want to work for myself and not somebody else. So when I came up with my business name I knew I wanted to dive fully in and make this brand come to life. It can be scary diving into something that you don’t know everything about but it’s also fun at the same time because you get to learn so much along the way. I definitely have came across a lot of obstacles that made me take it as a learning experience to better my brand and I really appreciate it and I think the entrepreneur side is really fun when you’re really passionate about what you do. I want to make Princess Behavior known, I want the name to be known whenever it is brought up in a room because I believe that I can make that happen.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the outdoors so I will definitely start off the day with some hiking trails probably Camelback mountain because I love a challenge. Then probably go for some brunch at Snooze or The Breakfast Joint. If we wanted to get into like the nightlife I would go to Old Town or Downtown Phoenix they have some really fun spots to drink and walk around. There’s a really good Hawaiian spot in old town called Hula’s Modern Tiki, so good! If we wanted to fit in some shopping I would definitely go to Fashion Square Mall.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to shout out my mom for being my biggest supporter and supporting anything I put my mind to. Having your parent be supportive of your dreams is such a great feeling and only makes me want to work 10x harder.
