Meet Rossy E. Eguigure | Production and Content Development Executive – Female Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rossy E. Eguigure and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rossy, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
My daughter, an accomplished, independent, and mostly kind-hearted human being; recently told me “Mami, I didn’t do what you told me, but what you did”. Although we all make mistakes, as human beings, we all are constantly learning and evolving, and one of the ways is from watching each other’s actions. As an adult and a parent, I have seen firsthand the value of observing and following people’s actions instead of their words. So, I think we all should keep that in mind

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have worked as a writer and media producer for about three decades. I first registered my company in Florida and then moved and registered my corporation in California. I personally believe the knowledge stemming from my experience in addition to the care I have for the audience is what sets my work apart from others. For example, I am passionate about creating projects targeted to the multicultural, intergenerational audiences. And I also work on respecting and not confusing the diverse Hispanic/Latina/Latinx audience in the USA and abroad.
While I can appreciate the many materials abundances I have come across, I have to say it has never been my primary goal. I always try to focus on what we have instead of what we are lacking of. I’ve worked on a variety of TV and radio programs, films, documentaries, and digital media content projects in different parts of the world; My goal has always been to work only on things I’m passionate about. I am grateful for the most unusual things, because fame, money, or followers, have not been my primary goal, and I’m very proud of that. This is how I’ve been able to keep my sanity and integrity in a very challenging and always evolving industry, and business world.
There are so many lessons learned throughout the years, decades, and even in the pasts weeks that I could mention. Getting where I am today has not definitely been easy, at all. All in all, I would have to say what has got me through each trial has been hard work, persistence, faith, and a positive attitude in the most troubling of times. Every three months, I do a quarterly review of myself and the company where I analize what we have done that has worked and what hasn’t, in order to better view what has been learned and keep moving from there.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hiking! I love the mountains, especially when they are close to the ocean, to me that is paradise. I’ve always been appreciative of nature and I truly believe when we are in contact with it, energizes us. Los Angeles is a big county with many tourist attractions. Some of the more popular spots I enjoy taking family or friends when they visit the ‘City of Angels’, are Walt Disney concert hall, the Hollywood walk of fame, the Hollywood bowl, Canyons, museums, studios tours, and the beaches. I’ve never been much of a restaurant person, but I’m a lover of coffee, so local coffee shops are a must. And of course, coming to Hollywood wouldn’t be coming to Hollywood without taking a trip to the movie theater especially when there are movie premiers. Or we can even enjoy a movie streaming at home, after our long tourist days.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I dedicate it to my matriarchal family. I am part of a family where women have been leaders in life in spite of so many obstacles we all go through. These great examples of women in my family include my grandmother, my mother, my aunts, sisters, cousins, daughter and nieces. They have all inspired and motivated me through the most troubling of times to move forward and beyond what I perceive my limits could be. Because we all know that life is full of moments, and all of them pass, so let’s focus on the good ones. We all came to this life to enjoy it!
