We had the good fortune of connecting with Brennan & Ethan Judy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brennan & Ethan, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe that success in the lending industry and in industry as a whole is much more about being personable than it is about sheer knowledge of the business. While my team and I possess top notch knowledge, we find ourselves working with people because they chose our character rather than choosing our business “profile”. We work based off of our character and excitement to serve our people. We love our jobs and that shines through. Our branding is focused around turning the mortgage business away from a boring transaction and into a journey of homeownership and friendship with our clients. We have seen a high yield of success in business because of our non-traditional approach.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are a team of brothers who started in the mortgage business from the bottom rung of the ladder and we worked our way up! We are proud of where we got our start, for starting from the bottom and working our way into a position of serving our clients from the front lines now. Our intricate knowledge of the internal workings of the loan process from being in the operations side gives us an edge that most loan officers do not get the chance to have. Just as well, we have been fortunate enough to serve in this business under a company who operates out of autonomy and a zeal for being the best at what we do! This company has driven us and grown us into the team we are and have been the cause for much of our success! The journey to where we are now in flourishing and having a sustainable business was not easy by any means. We have had to work intentionally at it every day to spend time pouring into our clients and realtors, into marketing ourselves as an energetic, communicative and knowledgeable force in the business. We have put our noses to the grindstone and continue to persist in pursuing good business. We have learned along the way that no matter how insignificant an interaction may seem on the surface, the way that we respect and treat people is the most important above all business. Being a person to the people we serve comes first and foremost in our interactions and in the heart that drives us. We want the world to know that Team Judy at Capstone Home Loans is here for anyone and everyone and we would love to meet you! More important than that, we are in the business of pouring into our clients and partners to see them achieve their highest successes and dreams.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If one of our best friends were to come into town, there are so many “must”s in the Phoenix area! From top to bottom, here is how it goes: 1. Jojo Coffeehouse for breakfast and coffee flights! This location in Old Town Scottsdale is a must to hit up for their amazing food and brew in the morning. 2. To beat the heat (and to walk off the massive breakfast), it would be time to head to Papago Park and walk to the Hole in the Rock. Overlooking the Phoenix area, this is a great spot of natural beauty in the red rocks of Arizona! Not to mention the incredible photo op! 3. After Papago Park, it’s time to cool down! How about a dip in the shaded pool at Lylo Swim Club? This spot in Phoenix is a hub for relaxation, delicious eats, refreshing drinks and a vibing pool that is the spot to enjoy the afternoon sun from the cool of their pool. Oh, and who could forget the ping-pong and other lawn games available inside this exclusive pool? 4. Time for some down time! A bit of time to relax indoors would be a great opportunity to get cleaned up, to catch up and to get ready for our next activity. 5. Nobody can come to Phoenix without working up their evening appetite at TopGolf! TopGolf, the target practice, fun game-style golf range is a place where even the least avid of golfers can come and crank a club and watch the golf ball fly. Great fun to get competitive and to see what you got! 6. Now that you worked up another sweat, time for dinner! To wine and dine with a friend coming into town is a unique opportunity and needs proper attention (and properly advanced reservation). Café Monarch in Old Town Scottsdale is the only option! With their wonderful service and incredible food, this will leave one and all feeling full and satisfied! This restaurant cannot be missed! 7. After dinner (and dessert… of course!), take to the quiet night streets of Scottsdale on The Birds! These electric scooters are the best way to drive under the string-lit streets and passed the boutique shops and restaurants. This is a much worth it addition to the trip. 8. Last but not least, crank that music up in the car, roll the windows down and enjoy the warmth of the night air on your way home! This adds the last bit of majestic feel to a fun-filled day. 9. Let your head hit the pillow knowing you wore your friend out with the best day ever!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to thank our supporting company, Capstone Home Loans and the leadership of the four partners there. The culture at our company is what has ultimately shaped who we are as a team and what we do. We would also like to thank our families, friends and community for instilling in us a passion for always referring back to where we came from. Small town vibes leave you with an intricate appreciation for the little things and that is something we are constantly striving to achieve further.
