Meet Salvatore Liberti | Breathwork, Spirituality & Meditation Teacher

We had the good fortune of connecting with Salvatore Liberti and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Salvatore, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Originally I was born in the city of Lima, Peru. At 9 years old my family of four emigrated to the United States via Miami, FL. This drastic move shifted us from living an upper-middle class lifestyle in Peru to being immigrants in a foreign country. My mom worked as a housekeeper when we arrived and my dad, a famous TV host in Peru, was working as a chauffeur for a rich family. (My dad’s talent for being an MC carries with me in the work that I do as a meditation & breathwork teacher and event leader.)
These series of events quickly developed a sense of humility within me, remembering where I come from allows me to be continuously grateful for every step I take in my journey. I often look around where I am and imagine myself as a young boy from Peru, thinking, “How did I end up here? Thank God I am here.”
My upbringing also taught me the value of working hard to educate yourself, increasingly adding value to what you do, and to make rapid connections in any environment. We moved around a lot, and this thrust me into a role of the “new kid” often. Thankfully my personality is one where I thrive in these situations and that practice of navigating new surroundings continues to be one of my most applied skills everywhere I go. I travel plenty for work and this has allowed me to make friends all over the world whom I can count on for their support.
Lastly, I was forced to grow up fast. After experiencing two divorces with my mother by age 17, I’d been thrust into a responsibility role that was tough, though wouldn’t have happened if I couldn’t have handled it. This ignited a fire in me to consistently better myself and improve my understanding of the world. Thus, I dove deep into personal development followed by metaphysical studies which are now showcased in the work that I do every day.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My journey as a teacher, coach, guide has been filled with excitement and a bevy of influences. My early training in contemporary personal development through Tony Robbins and other thought leaders allowed me rapidly, at a young age of 17-24, to learn and apply the concepts that millions of people regrettably don’t learn until later in later in life.
Following this training, my segue into the metaphysical world came out of necessity of finding meaning and a “Why?” in life. Having all the skills, the knowledge and the mechanics to be successful in whatever I set my mind to, yet having no passion for it was a painful realization. Then I found spirituality, the true meaning of healing through healing myself, and witnessed the need for this today. Having the rock-solid foundation of my early training, combined with my innate skills and the new teachings I am integrating along the field of breathwork, energy work, emotional trauma healing, meditation, and plant medicine guidance, allows me to take a “grounded on Earth” approach.
This field of metaphysics is full of ungrounded energy, this was a challenge for me to witness as I am someone who is quite practical and pragmatic. Yet the beautiful marriage of my skills builds a bridge of communication to bring these mystical teachings to ordinary people who may be confused or overwhelmed by the vastness of the world of spirituality. By combining my two fields, I can work more efficiently with my clients, creating a safe environment that is as much about having a mystical experience as it is doing the deep work on themselves and applying it in practical ways in their lives.
I am most excited about the opportunity to travel around the world and bring The Power of Breath, Medicine Breathwork and my personal work to those who need it. Not only to those who are in pain, though I want to teach this to young people so that down the line, they don’t have to undo 30+ years of emotional trauma, we must teach our young people a better way now if we want to have a chance at a brighter future for humanity and for our Mother Earth. My personal and professional philosophy is that we are all as healed as we need to be right now. It’s all perfect and yet, at the same time, we must answer the call of our hearts to liberate ourselves from our past patterns, traumas and fears in order to live our lives as fully expressed versions of ourselves. This is LIBERATION and the core of my service to the world. It is my mission, it is my life and I intend to pursue this until the day I die.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Los Angeles, I would take my friend for a beautiful hike up by Tuna Canyon near Topanga. The views are unmatched and then would follow with a surfing session in Topanga Beach. We would also play beach volleyball in Santa Monica and eat tacos at La Isla Bonita taco truck, my personal favorite tacos in the entire city.
One of my favorite restaurants in the entire country is L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele in Hollywood. This authentic Italian establishment is owned by my good friend, Francesco Zimone. One of the only restaurants I’ve ever been to that is absolutely perfect in everything they make. Their food is 100% authentic Italian and their pizza is the closest to the pizza in Napoli that I’ve ever tasted.
I’m a big foodie, so Cholada on PCH for Thai food would also be a spot, as well as Pho Fever on Pico & Barrington. No trip is complete without a visit to the Sawtelle neighborhood for Udon noodles, ramen and a great music show outside of B-Sweet Dessert Bar on weekend nights.
One of my favorite hikes in LA city is the Wisdom Tree trail. A steep challenge, it holds some of the best views of both the San Fernando Valley and LA proper. Combine that with a show at the Greek Theater or The Troubadour, you have a fantastic trip.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mother and my father deserve all the credit in the world for where I am today. She is a tough woman who raised me to be independent, ambitious, and most of all… grateful. Without her courage to bring us to this country, I would not have the opportunities that I do today and would not have been placed on this learning & teaching path. My father passed on to me his talent for hosting events, working the attention of a crowd, and learning a plethora of concepts, ideas and skills in depth. He’s a highly cultured and read man who consistently reminds me of how to be calm, compassionate and loving.
Aside from my parents, I would give Tony Robbins plenty of credit. After being part of his seminar Crew for 15 different UPW, Date with Destiny and Business Mastery events, I have learned decades-worth of practical psychology, contemporary personal development, and business acumen in 7 short years. I grew up from 17 years old to 24 years old going to his events multiple times per year. The connections I made at these events have given me some of the greatest fruits and are key in me being where I am and having the experiences I do. I’ve learned his techniques through hundreds of hours of observing him working with people and apply a lot of these skills into my work today. Also, one of his pupils, Rock Thomas, hired me out of college to work for him. While it was very intense, it pushed me past my perceived limits and taught me sales techniques and leadership skills that are invaluable. While it was very intense, it pushed me past my perceived limits and taught me sales techniques and leadership skills that are invaluable to this day. The introduction to industry professionals and one of my great friends and coach, Brad Johnson have been crucial to my continued education and success.
