We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeffrey Wacker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeffrey, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I had been working in the industry for 11 years and had worked at every level from delivery driver to technician to shop manager to logistics coordinator… but working on the cars and creating relationships with clients, not having customers was what I truly loved. I have a passion for automobiles so that is my biggest motivator, but when I see clients that I havent seen for ahwile and get to catch up or seeing clients post pictures of their cars and thank me publicly is so satisfying. I have been fortunate to work on some of the best cars in the world, having the trust of builders to allow me these opportunities is humbling
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My approach to my business goes back to me mentioning that I want clients. I never set out to have transactions, I want interactions. My business has been around since 2011 and we continue to grow each year wnd do this without an advertising. We maintain a strong customer base off of referrals and repeat clients. People choose our business because we take the time with each client to make sure the job is completed and their experience is anamazing one. I work on each person’s car as if it were my own. Their safety is in my hands. Also remebering our clients makes them feel special. We are a throw back to small town America, a true mom and pop shop
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
well my glass career has 2 people to thank. MY wife and my first boss. My wife, Cynthia comes in twice….. the first situation is the main reason, we were working as teeangers together and I was her supoervisor, we got married and because of that I got fired, at first seemed like a bad thing but lead me to finding a job at a glass shop….. which leads me to the second person, Brad Prince, my first supervisor as a Technician who saw somethng in me and pushed me to be better, the secoind way my wife cames in as my life partner who has always stood next to me and supported me in my ventures which have gotten me to this point in my life
