We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristina Holliday and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristina, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Honestly, I just wanted to succeed in life, and do something for myself, something I built all on my own. I come from a family of workers, in sales, My grandparents opened there own garage shop and quickly became big and everyone in the Pennslyvania state new of us. I guess you could say I’ve always been driven, I always loved accessories, im a true woman in that department. Anything that shined, glittsend and was glittery I loved, but i also had a creative passion to make everything with my own twist, thats when i decided that i would make hair products like scrunchies, headbands, jewelry etc to show off that you can truly pamper yourself and feel gorgeous without hurting your pockets. It started during the pandemic and it has quickly became my life

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When I became a mother I felt like I lost a piece of myself, they say if you have a daughter she steals your beauty and in some instances I feel that’s true. My products make you feel beautiful again, a free form to express myself without all the effort, You like comfy clothes? I got you, There’s tees, joggers, sweats, sweaters and so much more that i create my own spin of clothing. Headbands that are actually comfortable and cute, that wont be super expensive? I got you. My brand is much more than just accessories, its a place you can find yourself in accessories all while making you feel beautiful on the days you need a little boost.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I didnt always live in California, matter of fact I grew up in a small town in little ole pennslyvania where the roosters wake you up, and the cowboys wave at ya. I dreamed of coming here one day, and let me tell you it was everything and more, California is really where the dreams are made of. Theres so many places that have a piece of my heart, culture that is represents, the beauty it all holds.

Where would I suggest to go? Are you hungry? We could get mexican food in Mexico, as long as you have an ID you can buy little TJ tacos and be home by nightfall all while you said you went to a different country that day.

Hungry seafood? maybe some sushi? You have to try this little place in San Marcos, CA called “Sushi Huku” My husband has been going there since his 20’s, You can tell he favors the spot when the owner waves at you directly haha the freshest sushi, the most amazing miso, but mostly the vibeeee, its everything and more.

After you eat, you need to watch the sunset at the pier, Located in Oceanside, CA Also when your done, you can stop over and vist the TOP GUN house they filmed in the original movie,

My hometown that i’ve called home for the last 8 years will make you never want to leave, its truly a dream.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Wow this one is alot for me personally because when your starting a business, usually they say that friends and family will be the last to show their support but it honesty that has to be the farthest truth for myself personally.

Thank you to my wonderful husband, your support truly has kept me going through all the phases of my boutique journey, you have always lifted me when I doubted myself. You have supported me with your time that you take to help me when I need an extra hand, But most importantly your kindness for always being there when I need to share my frustration and then doing around, seeing how we could a turn a negative into a positive.

Thank you to my mother, who spent so much money in my shop purchasing accessories and always being my “VIP CUSTOMER” and getting private facetime accessory shows LOL

and too all of my supporters on Facebook who have shown me nothing but love… I wouldn’t be here definatley if it were not for yall.
