Meet Kylie Sweet | event stylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kylie Sweet and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kylie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have always enjoyed bringing people’s party ideas to life. I have done all of my families birthday parties, baby showers, graduations, bridal showers, etc. So I finally decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I set out to be a one stop shop with my business. I don’t just offer one kind of party, I try to offer multiple items so that people can book me for entire parties. I do toddler soft play, luxury bounce houses, luxury picnics, boho backdrops, balloon garlands, tables & chairs, centerpieces , etc.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take them to down town Tucson where you can experience multiple different cultures, different music, and different types of food. I would probably start with a brunch at the Monica, lunch at the HUB, and end the night at the Hut or O’Malley’s.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents are my biggest inspirations. They came from a really poor background, and when I was a little girl my dad decided to open up his own construction company. I’ve seen him work sun up to sun down my entire life to provide a life for me and my sisters. He has such a strong work ethic and really does everything he can to be the best. He inspires me every day.
