Meet Vendetta Vixen | Drag Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vendetta Vixen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vendetta, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
Since doing drag in the middle of the pandemic I’ve always realized that I want to do drag full time and even at the young age of 10, and be able to inspire others at a young age and let them understand that if I can do it they can do it too. The end goal for my drag to explore as much as I can and push myself and see my self on a future season of “THE BOULET BROTHERS DRAGULA” which is my biggest goal of my entire career I see myself winning and making it to top 3. By the end of my drag career see myself inspiring others in doing what they want to do for the rest of there lives and living there truth, this was something I wish I had at a young age so I wanna be that person that many can look up to and see them selves in me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a drag artist what is excites me is being able to move a crowd and being able see that they’re enjoying the show, I got to where I am today because other drag performers gave me an opportunity to perform in there shows it wasn’t just me, I have the support from many seasoned performers that have given me a lot or opportunities.
The biggest thing I want people to learn is that never let anything get in the way, if you want to pursue it full time and you have the capabilities do it and don’t look back.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This will be a bit difficult because I have so many people that have encouraged me and I look up to as a mentor, so for some, they may see hear this for the first time from me but to start I wanna say that my mother has helped me a lot and encouraged me into perusing drag and making sure I perfect my craft always growing in every aspect without her I’m not quite sure where I would be she has always been by my side since day one and will be here for the ride for a long time. She means the world to me.
I would also have to say that many Benaddiction, Trey, Yuri Thrall, Pretty Sh*tty Princess, Buzzkill, Eddie Broadway, and Miss Nature my best friend of four years Jayde. These have all helped me in many ways, from their words of encouragement, advice, and love they truly have helped me with doing something different and being comfortable in my skin especially with them and on stage. They felt like I found a family in the drag scene which has been difficult for me at the time because I’ve always felt like an outcast. So I wanna say thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me be myself and seeing something in me and always encouraging me and creating a safe space for all of us.
