We had the good fortune of connecting with San Martin Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi San Martin, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Our community was in need of a local information hub for entertainment and local breaking news and knowing that it was changing from paper to digital I decided now was a good time to do so. Already having a leg up on the competition I knew it would take off quicker than any business I have been a part of.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a Social Influencer in my local community, I have strived to use the NEW tools given to us and decided to go all in and start a business where I can do a lot with the tools we have online today, social media, apps and a little programming can take you to the top. I have been using social media since it was getting big in 2008 and haven’t stopped.
Today I am able to live off what I have created and then some! With the 1st year in sales, we have made 6 figures! We just started, and we have a lot more to do!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Prescott, Az in the Whole is a lace of beauty, I have heard so many times that Prescott is the most amazing place ever! The natural beauty is enough. I tend to navigate to some of our nearby neighbors in Jerome, AZ, and Sedona, AZ there is so much beauty in the drive alone, I would like to stop by one of my favorite restaurants the “Haunted Hamburger” and order off the “Secret Menu” . I think I get special privileges to cause nobody knows about these items.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Where would I begin? I want to definitely give a shoutout to JESUS CHRIST if it wasn’t for the transformation I went through in High School, I probably would not be who I am today. I have a list of amazing people to give tribute to, My Father Teddy if it wasn’t for his work ethic, My Uncle Richie for showing me what it’s like to be a good guy in our local community, and My Uncle Willie for giving my business mindset. I have a bigger list currently I wanna give my current business mentors a shoutout Erik Knight and Family, Cecilia & Kiki for believing in me and helping me get to this point with love and support. My Brother Teddy & Sister Maria for showing love on a regular, and the rest of the family who has supported me from afar. I also want to give love to those who didn’t think I would make it…
