Meet Larry Wiley | Managing Partner | Corporate Administrative Officer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Larry Wiley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Larry, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I knew I did not want to spend the rest of my life working for someone else; I wanted to have my own business, be my own boss and be in control of my own future. I had dabbled in many different types of work and would excel in all I did, so I knew I had it in me and I knew I could be successful if I only pushed myself to my greatest potential. I have worked for companies that I loved working for, each time I worked my way up in the company, gave more of myself each time. I realized I was giving so much of myself to the companies I worked for and thought, “if I can do that for someone else, I can certainly do it for myself.” This was the point in which my thought process took over and I was able to muster the strength, the intention and the determination I needed. I considered a couple of options once I made the decision to venture out on my own; I knew I would have challenges and would have to make some sacrifices along the w; however, I did not feel fearful or worried, I felt ready and eager as took the leap.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I believe my drive and compassion are what keep my path illuminated and set me apart from others. My journey has not been an easy one and I have had to face adversity and challenges I was not sure I could overcome but I have, and I continue to work hard so that I can provide hope and an improved way of life
to others. My career took a very different turn when I chose to engage in this journey. I never thought I would be in the field of mental health. I never knew I would be in a position that would help others discover themselves in a totally different way. I never knew I could make this type of difference. Again, I
am grateful for my partner for supporting me and for walking beside me, all the while, maintaining the vision with me. I saw an opportunity that would allow for a genuine contribution to the lives of others, and I could not be happier for taking this plunge. What I would like others to know is that change is possible, that the stigma that envelopes mental health does not have to be determining factor of anyone’s life.
My goal is to show others that love and kindness can go a long way and can make a huge difference for people that have not experienced such, it can open doors, can create lasting and meaningful relationships and best of all—can add to the quality of life one experiences.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would share the Tucson sunsets with my best friend. I would take them to Gate’s Pass in the early evening. I would also take my friend for several rounds of golf as Tucson has some of the most gorgeous golf courses in the world and can be played year-round. I would pick the best ones and play as many as possible. I would also invite my friend to Mt. Lemon as the Mt. Lemon Highway is in the top 10 most beautiful highways in the U.S. Hiking the Rincons for all the waterfalls is also a great option.
I would like to provide my email and the website to the company we have built. We have a Facebook and Instagram page for all to view and I am excited to share that with everyone.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my Shoutout to my life partner who has remained by my side and has not wavered and has been steadfast regardless of the challenges that have come our way, to my loyal and true friend who saw what I saw and believed in the vision as much as I did. My partner has been a faithful and
loyal contributor in this journey, she too made many sacrifices along the way and initially received nothing in return. She has been an inspirational whisper in my ear, she believed in me when I had difficulty believing in myself, she joined me with intentionality, determination and true dedication and has been a pilar in my journey. My friend has worked beside me day after day in the office, at home, in
the community…. anywhere we needed to be; we showed up together. He too has supported me in this journey, and I am grateful not only for the friendship he and his wife have shared but the loyalty they have also demonstrated.
