Meet Krista Lane | Co-Founder Noel Estelle Creative Designs, Yoga Instructor, Reiki Practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Krista Lane and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Krista, how do you think about risk?
I view risk differently than I did in the past, where I was probably a little more risk averse. Now, I see risks as a cornerstone of building a business, career, or really, any part of the journey of life. I’m a big fan of disruption, meaning the interruption of your normal routine, or what you get comfortable doing and before you know it, 10 years have passed, and you aren’t sure how that happened. We need disruption, which is really risk, to create change, and to continue to evolve on our personal and professional paths. I’ve taken a lot more risks (about 5 big moves just this year alone) and without a doubt, while terrifying and completely uncertain, with those leaps of faith, I’ve moved my life in a way that I couldn’t have imagined. I’ve created new opportunities and partnerships, expanding my career and personal life beyond what I thought was possible just a few years ago.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m the co-founder of Noel Estelle Creative Designs, a full-service, boutique, digital marketing agency. Along with my co-founder, Nina Whyte, we are a small team working to amplify the voices of female entrepreneurs and small business owners who are working tirelessly to share their gifts with the world. As a yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner myself, we are a small business that works from the heart-space, engaging with clients who are soul-driven and also working to raise the vibration of communities across the world. We do a lot of work in the healing arts space, with artists and healers who aren’t as familiar with the digital world, but need to be able to access it, and we try to make that process as easy as possible. We are only a year into our business, and it came together fairly naturally. We were both working for a different marketing agency but given some changes there, and a loud inner calling that we wanted to work for ourselves, we branched out to create Noel Estelle. We are extremely lucky that building a client portfolio didn’t take much time, but it was more experiencing the ups and downs of starting and owning your own business. There is so much information out there on how to own and operate a small business and we didn’t pay attention to any of it – we wanted it to just be us, organic, and authentic. We’ve learned what’s most important is how our clients feel, and the type of experience they have with us, in addition to delivering quality work, having fun, and having freedom in our personal lives as well.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you are headed to the Phoenix area, there are so many places to see and visit! First up, we would head to downtown Gilbert and Chandler as those 2 downtowns have really grown with great restaurants, brewpubs, local artisan shops, and farmers markets. We also would have to stop at the Queen Creek Olive Mill for lunch and some wandering around, and Creek Side Taco Shack for tacos outside in the sand with their fire pits burning! With so many hiking options, we would have to hit the trails (Lost Dutchman State Park if you are up for a doozy of a hike!), or San Tan Mountain Regional Park for something a bit more meandering. Phoenix has also really exploded in terms of the music scene with a lot of great venues to check out and hear local bands, including Jarrod’s Coffee, Tea, and Gallery, The Rebel Lounge, The Yucca Tap Room, and The Lost Leaf.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A massive shout-out to my husband, Eric (@deatilsofeating), who not only supports me in every endeavor I try, but also constantly pushes me to be uncomfortable, access my creative side, workshops everything I try to create, and simply sees the world completely differently from any other human I’ve ever met. He can see a million perspectives, and is always helping me to be happy, whole, and living a purpose-filled life.
