We had the good fortune of connecting with Christian and Melissa Palacios and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christian and Melissa, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Thoughts behind starting our own business was determination to show others our creativity and to be able to personalize are work. We wanted to be able to create a husband and wife business that allows us to spend time with one another and doing something we love together.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We found ourselves one night saying why not make something we both enjoy a business. We our so excited for our business to grow. Today, we are where we are because of our clients allowing us to share their photos with others on social media. One challenge we have overcome is getting comfortable with putting ourselves out there when photography is a competitive field. We have overcome that challenged once we learned that our work truly speaks for its self and when its lined up it works beautifully. We want our clients to see how we may be photographers that are professional, creative, flexible, and fun when working with them. We understand that the photography industry is competitive and we hope to show affordable prices with great quality and style!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some exciting things we have found are hiking in Sedona, seeing the Grand Canyon, Havasu Falls, Fossil Creek and swimming behind the water fall. We always enjoy a good steak or bruschetta boards with at a winery or brewery in downtime Gilbert or Chandler. Also, attending any sports venue.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to give a shout out to our friends, Matt and Faith Jones who allowed us to share their family photos. We truly appreciate them meeting us in our in home studio and outside locations being our models!! This diffidently opened up doors for us.
