We had the good fortune of connecting with Matthew Ryan Of The Matty Ice Show and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Matthew, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
I think for myself the best thing I ever did was partner with Rick Ross & Belaire it really helped me within the scene and I was able to meet a lot of great people through the strength of Maybach Music Group.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I interview a ton of artists and big influencers and celebrities. Interviewing is really my passion and you truly never know what you are going to come away with out of each and every interview. Currently I have over 300 interviews & performances live on my YouTube channel “The Matty Ice Show”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ok so if you are coming to AZ for your first time this is what I would do. First we go to Sedona check out all the beautiful hiking and trails and scenery I feel like Sedona is a staple here in AZ. Of course just to be a tourist will take you to old town show you all the cool bars and great places to get drinks, one of my favorite spots LoLos chicken and waffles shout out Larry and the staff over there and last but not least we got to go to Mastros!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So to start I have worked with a ton of great content creators and I believe they are very important. Weezle who works out of Arizona is a very talented Videographer and photographer. I feel like we really put a lot of work in together and it for sure helped my platform. Also most recently working with a videographer out of Las Vegas Slime Tarantino. But now I’m under new management Geter K on instagram geterk_183rd. He is a Maybach Music Executive and also owner of Solid Ground Empire management & label. Geter is extremely important to The Matty Ice Show and somebody I look up to and respect within this industry. But of course I have to shout out Rick Ross the biggest Boss. Truly somebody that really paves the way for so many people and I will never forget these times.
