We had the good fortune of connecting with Imani Hardy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Imani, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success / brand “Lamour Du Reve” are my kids. My kids are my motivation and my WHY. They make me want to get up everyday and put my best foot forward. I’m obsessed with creating generational wealth.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I would like to think the services I provide are considered art. I create and design either a physical experience on your skin, hair, or clothing, which both make you feel good once the service is finished. I got where I’m at today from hard work, dedication, and consistency. Running a business isn’t easy, some days are better than others but I make sure I stay dedicated and true to my dreams. I want people to know the meaning behind my brand “L’amour Du Reve” which means “The Love of Dreams”. The reason behind the name is, I always had dreams of creating generational wealth, to be a professional in the health care field. I am now bringing my dreams to fruition.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite spots in the city of Philadelphia that I enjoy is Main Street. It’s unique, colorful, and full of delicious restaurants. Main Street also has cool activities such as karaoke, movie theater, clubbing and much more. It’s a joyful time whenever you visit Main Street in Philadelphia

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Firstly, I will like to shout-out my kids. They are the major part of my story. I want them to know, if I can do so can you. My bestfriend Bria for presenting this opportunity to me and always speaking my name in rooms even when I’m not present, thank you so much.
