Ahn-yeong-haseyo, Hello and welcome to Sweet Snow. My name is Dan and Sweet Snow is home to some Traditional Korean and Asian Desserts, with an American twist of course. Some of these Desserts are popular street foods in South Korea and Asia, where we used to live. The idea for my business, Grounds4Cause, was born out of a deeply personal and passionate vision. I wanted to create more than just a business; I wanted to build a platform that could have a lasting impact on our society and support the communities that matter most to me. For you to understand my thought process behind creating my own business, I’d like to give you a bit of background. From a young age, having gone through a challenging childhood and being highly empathetic, I’ve felt a deep connection to the healing arts and a sincere desire to contribute positively to the lives of others and our planet. Starting the We Shouldn’t Say That podcast was very spontaneous, however it was the one of the best decisions we’ve made this year. Growing up, people would constantly compliment our humor and story-telling. Many of our family members would seek our stories, knowing it would somehow make them laugh. After a wonderful 22-year career in the Emergency Medical and Fire services and a move to Arizona from Washington State, I decided to retire from that industry. I owned a small general contracting business several years ago during my EMS/Fire career and fell in love with entrepreneurship. My goal was to eventually own my own business again.
