Meet Aaron Garza | Roast master

We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Garza and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aaron, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Quality consistently.

What should our readers know about your business?
Generally speaking I am an artist and creator I’m very goal driven and manifest my reality through hard work and focus. if I have an idea in mind I like to see it all the way out
My venture into the world of craft coffee started as a visual artist in 2009 when I rented my first art studio and named it “the espresso gallery”. From there it developed into a larger space that hosted local and out of state artists and musicians. I managed the space for over three years before closing the location due to issues at with the landlord and building.
My passion for coffee didn’t end when I closed the location if anything ..it grew. I decided to dive deeper into the craft and started roasting my own coffee beans.
At that point I followed my love for travel and moved to Zion National Park Taking my roaster with me establish myself as a coffee roaster and promoting my roasting services. I’ve roasted coffees in at least six states.
I’m currently running day to day operations in a mobile trailer while I work on building out a cafe with indoor seating that will serve as home base for the business.
Tumbleweed coffee is a concept that doesn’t live in the city, I’m planning on getting back to Arizona in 2024

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Check out ‘Steep – Leaf Lounge’ in flagstaff AZ . Voted best tea shop in flagstaff… they also have amazing coffee. From there I’d say drive out to the Grand Canyon a hike and a view. While you’re out there hit up some shops like Vortex Treasures and see what the local artist have to offer.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have an incredible drive when it comes to the goals I set to a point of being somewhat stubborn.. I believe in helping others and I appreciate the help and support I’ve had along the way. One of my early mentors Angel Mena was part owner of Ruta maya coffee , he took me under his wing so to speak and let me tag along for different business and coffee related meetings. That showed me a tangible real word experience of the field I was trying to get involved in
