We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyasha Jamerson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kyasha, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
The end goal is to own a brick and mortar. Where I have multiple wigs already customized and ready to wear for customers to come in and pick whatever style they would like. Also hiring some upcoming hairstylist and help them along with thier journey. Professionally by the of my career I want to be able to host classes for wig installs and give back to my hair sisters. By doing business and hair workshops.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
How I got here was simply by not giving up by being very persistent in my goals of wanting to become a wig stylist. I had times were I wanted to give up but the joy I got beyond doing wigs and making women feels beautiful I stayed at it. I keep pushing everyday and reminding myself that I am enough. I want the world to know that you have to start somewhere it might not be at the top but as long as you start the sky’s the limit.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
