Hi Adriana, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The Opportunity to Serve My Community

The opportunity to own my own business was something I had wanted to do for quite a while. It started with a passion of being able to serve my community. I have seen for years how the media has negatively portrayed our border town. I felt the negativity was affecting the way people from other areas saw our border town. Santa Cruz County is a peaceful community filled with hardworking people who just want an opportunity to thrive. Border Eco Magazine focuses on highlighting the people, events, and organizations in our community who work hard to improve the lives of those they serve.

When people have a bad perception about a community, it affects our economy. People are less willing to want to live in an area they feel is not safe. It is a shame that politicians use our border towns to scare people, and portray our border towns as dangerous when in fact our community is safe. Our border is secure and protected by our federal government.

I am proud to be a part of this community and I am committed to using my business to help change the narrative about our border town. I want to show the world that we are a safe and welcoming community, and that we are filled with people who are passionate about making a difference.

I believe that by highlighting the positive stories in our community, we can start to change the way people see us. We can show the world that we are more than just a border town, we are a community of people who are working hard to build a better future for ourselves and our children.

I am excited to see what the future holds for Border Eco Magazine. I believe that we can make a difference in our community and I am committed to using my business to help tell our story.

As a business owner, I try to maintain a realistic outlook. As new challenges arise, Border Eco Magazine is prepared to meet them. Starting a small business requires persistence, patience, and resilience, but with the right preparation and execution, it can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Border Eco Magazine sets itself apart from other publications by being dedicated to reshaping perceptions of Santa Cruz County. Our publication avoids sensationalism and takes no interest in tarnishing reputations. We take pride in our focus on factual reporting and highlighting the positive contributions of individuals, organizations, and events that make a significant impact on our community.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Santa Cruz County is a must-visit destination, boasting a wealth of art, culture, traditions, and unique attractions that embody the spirit of each region. With its diverse blend of local flavors, delicious cuisine, and a rich tapestry of history, this vibrant county offers an unparalleled experience for all who visit.
