We had the good fortune of connecting with Agnes Goodwine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Agnes, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?

The mission of Level Up Tribes Podcast, a branch of Level Up Tribes, LLC., is to serve as a communication medium between guests and listeners, and help the community get the necessary tools and resources to level up their mind, body and soul and realize their full potential.
For the past thirty years, I have worked in the public sector where my career objective has always been to drive change with enthusiasm, empathy, and positive relationship building. I continually draw on these three intentions in everything I do in life. I am now super excited to add the same objectives and my own twist of spiritual mindfulness when developing topics for the Level Up Tribes podcast and my yoga classes.
Level Up Tribes listeners are from all over the world, and I am thankful for those community connections. I am also grateful for the entrepreneurs, business professionals, and community leaders that share their stories, knowledge and passion on the show for our community to level up.


Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In addition to my work with Level Up Tribes, I have worked for the City of Mesa City Clerk’s Office since 2014, where I help manage City elections, voter outreach programs, and other day-to-today operations. I am also a Certified Master Municipal Clerk and a proud member of the Arizona Municipal Clerks Association and the International Municipal Clerks Association. Throughout my professional career, I’ve been involved in many projects requiring strategic thinking, community outreach, leadership, and problem solving.


Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

My happy place in Arizona is visiting Sedona. The positive energy in Sedona just fills up my soul. There is so much to do from hiking, visiting landmarks like the Chapel of the Holy Cross and the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park, which both give a sense of connection with self and it’s just a beautiful spiritual oasis.
My favorite restaurants in the valley include Switch Restaurant on Central Phoenix, the entire menu is exceptional. The fried chicken bites are a must. (tip: choose the shallot habanero honey drizzle)

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people who have crossed my path whom I call my “earth angels” and they are too many to name, but they know who they are. I must start my honoring the love and support of my husband, mom, sister, brother, and my two sons.

A special shoutout to my husband for encouraging me to pursue my crazy ideas without judgement and supporting me by giving his feedback and helping me with podcast episode editing, which is no easy task.
A huge thank you to all of my yoga teachers, especially Megan Cannon, for re-introducing me to yoga and believing in me and giving me the opportunity to learn and teach at her studio. I also want to recognize the owners of Laveen Dance Studio/Laveen Yoga, Claudine and Marcel Dulaney, for opening their doors and community and giving me the opportunity to teach Restorative Yoga to the great and awesome community of Laveen, Arizona. The opportunity has truly changed my life and I am grateful to be part of the Laveen tribe.
