We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandria Walton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexandria, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
My definition of success always changes. I set goals for each project or challenge I have, and always do my best to meet that goal. I am convinced that if you keep up with your goals, you will be successful.

What should our readers know about your business?
I think what sets fawn maple apart from others is that we are always sourcing ways to improve our quality and products. We are where we are today because of dedicated late nights, never choosing to give up, and because they was always a steady stream of customers to keep us in business. The biggest lesson we have learned along the way is that if you don’t give up, you will continue to grow.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the Rockies in British Columbia or Alberta, and we would spend time away from society in an air bnb, cooking our own food, spend time in the mountains and catch up over tea/coffee. There is comfort in solitude and I would love to be able to share that with a friend in the wilderness.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband, Shane deserves a shoutout for always keeping me on track.
