We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Robertson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amanda, how does your business help the community?
Our company was started to fund a dream/career of young female professional golfers. Our business not only provides opportunities for them to financially support that career but teaches them a variety of skills. Each professional golfer has the ability to financially support their journey to the LPGA but we hope they grow as a person and step into their own as a professional and learn some business skills along the way. Stepping out on the course, speaking in front of strangers, selling a product, and learning to communicate effectively is just a few of the things we as a company hope to help them with. The other side to our business is raising money for charities big and small. The extra funds that we are able to raise and provide for the charity at hand is something we take very seriously. Sometimes the extra money allows the organization to do things they didn’t think were possible whether it be providing extra scholarships, supporting more families or just helping the overall cause. Theses charities rely on donations and we have created a way to make it not only fun for the players but get them to remember why they are playing in the golf tournament and who they are supporting.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are a golf entertainment company that fundraises for charities on the golf course that was started back in 2015.

We place professional female golfers on the course and they fundraise for the charity at hand. We not only fundraise but provide memorable and unique experiences for the players on the course.

We are known mostly for our ‘Beat the Pro’ Challenge but we also provide lots of different options to clients for on-course activities. I am most proud that our brand has held firm to our core values and as we continue to grow we have stuck to them throughout. We are a group of female professional golfers who want to support women’s golf and the charities that we raise money for.

Challenges are presented every day and while they can be overwhelming at times we know we have a bigger purpose ahead and we have made a promise to see our vision through. One thing I have learned is that confidence and belief in your brand goes a very long way. There are days you wonder fi you are still on the right path but I cannot tell you how important it is to refocus on why you started and go back to the basics. Your company and brand are your for a reason.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This area is surrounded with so much fun and culture.

Some of the must go places to visit/eat.

I would spend an evening over on High Street eating some dinner at Modern Margarita or Mellow Mushroom and then grabbing some ice cream and The Soda jerk. High Street is a great place to walk around and hang out and maybe catch some live music. While you are at it try and snag some tickets to the comedy club!

If you are looking for a day full of shopping and eat it is easily spent in Old Town. Tons of little souvenirs shops and restaurants to explore and get a taste of Arizona.

Downtown Phoenix is also a must to go grab a bite at Blanco and soak up some of the downtown vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Mckenzie Lyng and Taylor Grider are the other two owners and the three of us have grown this company well beyond what we ever thought it would be. A team effort definitely was necessary and got us to where we are without losing the vision. The three of us have set out on a mission to change the charity golf world and conquer it one day at a time.
