We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ana, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
You never know until you ask, right? If the request is never asked and the intention is not put forth, the answer will always remain the same.
I think about the other side of risk as regret. The burden of regret outweighs the uncertainty of taking leaps into the unknown. By nature I’m a curious person, so I’m called to discover what is unknown to me. Looking back throughout major life moments, I’ve always made bold choices. I book the flight, I reach out to the people who inspire me, I apply for the opportunity… for better or worse, I jump and think about what comes next when the next moment finally arrives.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Exploring the world and connecting my community through visual storytelling defines my purpose as an artist and entrepreneur. I am a photographer working with business to share their story. Specifically, I guide brands to authentically align purpose with strategy by connecting with their community of clientele through multi-media content creation. I love this work. Combining art and strategic thinking, right and left brain, to help businesses and brands grow in their purpose is fulfilling beyond what I could have imagined.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am so grateful for my friends and family who support me in their unique way. Whether it’s trusting in my vision, paying full price, saying my name in a room full of opportunity, or believing in me when I couldn’t see it for myself, I’m so thankful for the people who keep me going.
